Hi all. Happy birthday Tap, glad you checked in.
I'm at 87 days today. Tons of meetings all day at work, just taking a moment for myself right now. I'm also working on my first 24 hr fast... in a way it's good that it was today because I have so much going on here to distract me today that I can't sit and think about it. I'm losing weight steadily on IF, not crazy loss, just about a pound per week which is in line with my expectations. I'm happy with that rate of loss since I can basically eat what I want. Will break the fast at dinner. Bf said he'd be home tonight, so that's good. Last night I got to talk to him for about 2 minutes between his two book groups.

28 days again! Yippee, 4 weeks. I’m so happy to be clocking up some days again. I’m feeling pretty good, and it’s raining!!! Real rain, which is just wonderful, and it’s really lifted my mood

Day 5 here, and I just got my final shot of B12. The transformation from a total wreck to something resembling a human being in just one week is remarkable. Going to do some character development today, it is intriguing to see the people I have invented come to life. And maybe I'll bake my famous banana cake...?

Sitting on the train. It's a bit crowded. At one end of the carriage is a party of obstetricians on their way to a conference and at the other end a group of ornithologists on their way to a to investigate an alleged sighting of the rare Siberian Wing Tailed thrush. Apparently one of the obstetricians is dyslexic and can't work out which group he's supposed to be with.
This reminds me of last week when the same the same thing happened with some pediatricians and another lot.

Day 88 for me. I had a tiny slip yesterday. I ordered chicken liver pate at a restaurant and only realized when it came that it probably had alcohol in it. I don't know that for sure, it might not have, but most chicken liver pate recipes I've run across do seem to have a little brandy or some such. I did eat some, but just to be safe I won't ever order that again. I do generally prefer to avoid alcohol in food. I did remember to turn down the bananas foster dessert, lol!
