Kenton - Great idea to sit with your brother's children. Excellent way to distract yourself from negative thoughts & do a wonderful favor at the same time.

Glad you came here to talk about your drinking thoughts Kenton....it is scary how quickly they can appear outta nowhere....and so sweet of you to sit with the kids....sending healing thoughts and hugs for your brother & family

I had to get to a point where my recovery endured because it's best for me - I can't make it dependent on always having good days or people always liking me, or people always being fair.
Some days will be great and some will be brutal...but I have to keep steering the ship cos I matter.
You matter too. That is an end to itself

Kenton my heart and thoughts are with you. The fear and stress is so much, and of course a minefield of family dynamics can really play with our heads. You did the right thing. Dear Kenton I’m praying for your bro! Can identify a little coz my sponsor had surgery ( Crohn’s) earlier today; he asked me to keep him in prayer. I’ve tried to follow up, but no response yet; I’ve chosen not to fear or worry though I wish had his wife’s number & followed up
