Hi everyone

PJ , keep that bog book safe in case we have another toilet paper crisis

Mags, my dear, how are you handling this crisis, now you have been shut away for months, plus another couple due to your asthma. Are you managing to inject yourself now to keep you safe.
You go through soooo much and yet always think of others. You are so kind xxx

Dearest Croutie, my heart and love goes out to you so much. I know you are grieving , just know how much we love you.

When you are ready, whenever that may be, we are ALL here to support and care
Your dear husband will be your angel now xxxxx

Crois, dusk is my favourite time of the day too.
i let my baby chick out an hour b4 dusk and let her roam the yard with her Mum .
She taught her to dust bath , i cant even describe the cuteness overload factor.....its in the gazillions .

love you ALL julyers

xxx

Morning Julyer Buddies

Sunny day here today. It’s my sister and her husband’s wedding anniversary today, also her birthday. We usually arrange to go over and go out for lunch but this time I’ve sent some treats over to be delivered today.

Snoozy, I’m fine love. The injection treatment is a breeze, a lot easier than I imagined. It’s amazing what you can do if you have to. I have been restless a bit some days but we actually went out at 6am other morning and drove to a remote spot on the River Trent and walked along the embankment for a short while. It was very breezy, but blew some cobwebs away.

It helped Mr. Mags too, I’m sure I drive him crazy most days, he’s very patient.

I was going to take photo’s of the small chapel we passed but my phones battery went flat..you’ll know what I’m talking about Snooz, yours is always flat .

Take care and please be safe, as I read on SR somewhere, we’ve been used to doing one day at a time and baby steps, it prepared us unbeknownst. xxxx

Glad stuff is ok Mags.

Very sad- a 30 yo miner in a small, isolated town interstate has died from covid illness. The govt have no idea how he got it- not having travelled or anything. Shows how careful we all need to be.

PJ, that’s really sad about the miner.
We don’t know enough about the virus to take any risks.

Take care, be safe. xx

Winter arrived big time here yesterday. Storms and a reeeeaaaalllly noticeale drop in temperature at night. Around 7C. I know this does not even make those people in Northern winters feel cold, but I have a friend from Germany who swears it is very cold here- a 'different kind of cold'.

PJ, I’ve heard of ‘different kind of cold’ and ‘different kind of heat’ too! Must be something to do with the atmospherics. Keep warm.

I am QUITE happy with my cold thank you Suze.

Last 2 weeks of semester coming up- it seems every time I tell myself I will be more consistent with study, a regular routine and all that, life happens. BUT the purpose of the art- is it is a tool to learn and grow- to heal and work out who I am. So it is the process that is important.

In a way- what I was thinking feeling was akin , for example- to an overweight person not wanting to join a lose weight club- before they lose weight.

Stay safe and my prayers to y'all.

Hi gang.
Hope everybody is doing well.
Summer is quickly coming upon us now. We seem to have moved on from Covid 19 to Riots, but hey it's America. But,it will all work out.
Hoping to get out and do some camping this summer. Toby has a rash and needed some meds for it. Seems he's been digging under his chin and has a hot spot.
Take care everybody!

Yeah, it can get brutally cold here on the East coast during the winter.

Hiya Julyer Buddies

Bob, good to see you. It’ll be nice if you can get out camping in summer. Hugs for Toby.

Raining cats and dogs here. I wondered why we say that and Mr or Mrs Google says it comes from the Greek expression ‘cata doxa’ - contrary to experience or belief.

Have a good weekend and stay safe.xx

Thank you for thinking of me CW; you are very kind to do so...you’re a Sweetiepie.
Thank you Snooze for your continuing support and caring...you are a blessing.
Thanks to all you Julyers for the condolences you expressed and for the help you’ve given me along the way by being my sounding board. You helped me through a lot of sad and difficult situations. I am grateful.
Now I’m experiencing something that no one can help me with....as no one can fill the hole in my heart. I am aware being old as I am I was lucky to have many, many years with my Husband. Of course I’m thankful for that.
The flip side is having someone by your side through thick and thin, hope and despair, who was always loving and supportive is very hard thing to get used to not having...I don’t expect to. I will grieve for him and miss him for the rest of my life. Hope I’m making sense. It’s hard to put into words how my loss feels, but I wanted to try...
I Do find solace in my DH’s peaceful passing. That’s the one comfort I have.
Just wanted to say hello to you all.

Stay safe and be kind.
Croutie

Good Morning Julyer Buddies

Croutie, it’s good to see you. You have a big void in your heart, losing your beloved husband, friend, soulmate. Please don’t worry about coming here and talking to us. You can share your feelings with us. Sometimes writing your feelings down help a little. Just know we’re here. Thinking of you.

Love to all. xx
