Class of July 2013 Part 60
Hello Dear CW, I really appreciate you always remembering me. Hello, Dear Julyers. I am happy that your darling daughter is graduating Bob. Goodness, how time flies! I am ok. A dear friend's brother died last month of Covid, in England. Another close friend is terribly sick with congestive heart failure. She's negative for Covid though. Out of hospital but I took her to the dr today, and I really think she needs to be in hospital again. Such awful times. I'm keeping busy with the garden and sorting things at home. Stay safe and well, my dear friends.
Leshar I'm so happy to hear from you sweetheart, but also so sad for your loss. It's always such a joy to see your little pink avatar .Happy Mothers Day Crois and to all Aussie Mums.I've had a really good day. Saw Mum for coffee, had lovely messages from Holly & Katie. Holly & Andy called in and gave me a big ornamental rooster , I LOVE IT. & also an aloe Vera plant in a sweet little pink pig pot. Very cute.
Shaun just got back from the shops with 2 huge slabs of Haighs rocky road. Omg it's to die for.
Feeling very spoilt x x

Darling Leshar, lovely to see you post! xx
Sorry for the losses, but how kind you are to still be helping your friend when she is sick. They say that does help at times like these. Please think of your health too.
Nothing much to report here. F’ing for lots of walks, so ramping up my endorphins and cutting out sugar has really helped my mood. I’m coping ok now.
Restrictions are being eased a little. I have no new friends in my new city to see haha, but able to visit National parks feels like a treat!
love to all.
snooz, I hope the thoughts of drinking have passed my dear.xx

Prayers, Leshar.
The rehab/recovery/homeless program I literally owe my life to- is closing down about half of it's functions. Funding issues (when is it not?). A tad emotional- I found my interest in art there.

Hi gang.
Sorry to hear about that wonderful resource closing,PJ. The money just never seems to go to the people doing good in the world.
I pray that somebody will step forward and fund their mission.
I am back working a full 40 hr. week. Had to cut back to 36 hrs. when things got slow.It only lasted 2 weeks.
We had a beautiful weekend and spent a lot of time working in the yard and enjoying the warm weather.
Hope everybody is having a wonderful day/night.

parts of 'the bog book', which are read out summarily at the beginning of meetings- the 'cunning, baffling, powerful' as to the effects of booze, as true.
I think more about my history with myself for company in these quarantine days. As I related to my psycholady- us in this exclusive club- know how to isolate anyway, people getting in the way of drinking. So being in enforced isolation- can lead to complacency and relapse. There was a guy at a meeting earlier this year- 15y sober, who had one of those almost unthinking reactions when offered a beer at a party- and drank it, then proceeded straight back to his last binge, 15y earlier within 3 days. One guy I know says it well- be it meetings,(or SR)- but connection to others gives me a daily reprieve, but I will always just be on parole with sobriety....years don't matter.

Hi ya Julyer Buddies
PJ, sometimes I get ‘bogged’ down with the size of some books.
a beautiful day here but dark clouds keep passing by. It would be lovely if there wasn’t the drone of lawn mowers. They could be considerate and use garden shears maybe?
Take care and keep safe, love to everyone. xx

Morning Julyers
CW, I’m opposite, I like the early mornings. There’s a theory that if you were born early morning you’re a morning person and night person if you’re born later in the day. Owls and Larks. , but it could be an ‘old wives tale‘.
I hope everyone is ok. Difficult times for many of our Julyer Buddies and just remember you’re not alone. We care about you from all corners of the earth.
Take care of yourselves, your wellbeing and please be safe.
Love Mags xxxx
