Haha. I went to bed, thinking I’d sleep through it.

I forgot, I don’t live in the bush anymore. Lol

Was very beautiful. I could see fireworks both in the city from my spare bedroom and over in Olympic Park precinct from my balcony. So great. Noisy.

Like your greeting, PJ.

Happy 2020 for all of us! Love to all, including those not posting.xx

Morning Julyers

I’ll second that feeling, Snoozy. It’s great to wake up hangover free!

Have a good day, hope it’s stress and trouble free. xx

That was one of the amazing things when I first stopped drinking. All the time in the morning, to run around and get things done, feeling great.

I’m sure I sometimes take that ‘new lease on life’ for granted sometimes. I must remember that when I drag my feet to go walking!

Love to all.xx

Im gonna have to get walking again Crois, i always feel so good afterwards and my 2 new puppers would benefit .

Sadly my daughter lost her beautiful Dog Bear on New Years Eve.
She was only 7 and has been with Katie through lots. She was literally her best friend.

Bear is the dog in my AV . It was very sudden. She became unwell virtually overnight then started vomiting blood in the morning.
They ran tests and she had leukemia .

Its just awful because Katie is bereft and there is nothing i can do to help her but be there and let her grieve.
Our dogs in our family are like our children, its just so sad.

Thevworst thing was that Katies partner rang my ipad !!! I got so frightened i was too scared to pick it up.

I said whats wrong and she was crying ...in those moments that she teafully said, i have some bad news , my mind went crazy, i fely sick , started shaking and my legs went to jelly.
It was only split seconds but felt like an eternity , i thought she was going to tell me katies dead. I hate even writing that !!!!

It took me a while to get my composure and the look on my face alarmed Shaun .
Had a shower and a strong coffee , but that fear stuck with me ALL day.

Anyhow glad that was left in 2019 so i can start a fresh 2020.

Its our job as mothers to lay awake at 2 or 3 am to worry about our children. It never ends.

Anyhow my dear friends, heres to good day ahead for all of us Julyers.

Xxx

Hi Julyers

Snoozy, your dogs would love the beach, when it’s cooler I guess.
I never did understand my parents worrying about me when I was an adult. I guess they’ll always worry about their kids, whatever age,

I just remembered my dream. I had gone to collect my wedding photos that where just done (I didn’t even know I got married again) lol, and the pictures of me were awful. So I decided to ask all the guests to send me any photos they had. The things we dream lol.

Off to visit my step mum later. She’s 94 this July. She does really well.

Have a good weekend xx

Thanks everyone , i do know how you love your pups Bob, you're a good man, my friend.

Im having a sad day today. These bushfires are getting really scary. I just cant look at another burnt animal suffering.

The bushfires have burnt land the size of England.

Over 500 million , possibly a trillion wildlife killed and more maimed.

Im going to have to turn the telly and social media off for a bit because quite frankly im feeling really depressed. :-(

I know you other Aussies must be feeling it to.

I am not watching the fire stories too much. Here in Adelaide, there is light rain...hoping it makes a diff on Kangaroo Island- very bad situation there.

I am like PJ, I’m not watching much TV but check updates briefly every couple of days. I think the best we can do is donate If we can, but acknowledge that as bad as it is, the media’s job is to hype up the hysteria more.

It’s like September 11, Boxing Day Tsunami etc. if you can do something or donate, then yes, but otherwise staring at a train crash does nothing to help the victims, or you.
