Hi gang.
I guess I should be glad that I'm still working.
And that there will soon be a stimulus check for $2400.
My wife and I usually keep at least a 1 month maybe 2 of food and supplies.
We were a little short on TP, but my friend at work has a restaurant supplier. He was able to secure 96 rolls.

It's nice having my daughter home and we're all here so Toby loves that.
I don't know anybody that has or has had the virus. But, they keep telling us it is near. We shall see, I still think I had this back in December when I mentioned having a cough that lasted weeks and felt like I was drowning.
I think some areas in this country have basically "slammed the barn doors shut after the horses got out." But, we shall see.

Anyways, hoping everybody is safe and enjoying their Sunday.
Take care, hope to hear from you all.

I donated to the Salvo's domestic violence homeless Easter appeal (I was homeless, they saved me in so many ways)

Time to ensure I was not Corona-ifed- 60m

that I was not carrying diseases- 30m of digital paperwork and blood tests/pressure

time to give just under 1L of blood- 9m.

the nurse was fascinated by me explaining I was an alcoholic in recovery- always, not recovered.

I love your honesty PJ , plus you are a joy to be around

Bob, I remember you having that awful cold and you couldn’t shake it off.
Those symptoms you described are identical to covid19
Especially the feeling like you are drowning Part.

I think it has been around a lot longer in USA than they first thought.

So glad you overcame it my dear friend xxx

Hope everyone is well.

If anyone is struggling or feeling lonely, please don’t hesitate to ring me for a chat or text

Love you all.

Mags I’m so glad you are well. I worry about you with your compromised lungs and immune system . Take care sweetheart xxx

Snoozy,
I looked back through my post to find some that were around Christmas. I remember coughing all night for a week and feeling tired and short of breath. No way to tell yet if we have antibodies for it.

Happy Easter everyone! I’m alone and eating Choc bunny. Take care and love to all, including those not posting!

Thinking of you Leshar and Croutie! Often wonder how our Ladybug is going too. Her kiddos must be getting big now.

Hello all, and hello dearest CW. You are so kind to think of me.
I'm ok, at home alone and counting my blessings every day as everyone navigates this dreadful crisis. I'm immunocompromised because of long term medication for arthritis, so I'm super careful when I do have to go out to get groceries, or medication.
I'm lucky that I have a garden and deck and can go out to my own back yard.
I know I don't post, but I do read often, and think of you all every day.
Enjoy your choccie bunny, CW!
Happy Easter and Passover season. It's hard not to be with friends and family, but we are all doing this for the greater good and that is a good thing for humanity.
Love you all.

Oh darling Leshar! xxx
so thrilled you see you post! Thanks so much for the update, and sorry to hear you are at higher risk too. I am glad though you have some garden at home, that’s a blessing, to have a little pocket of nature.

We are all here for support if you need it!

Was so lovely to see you post in here Leshar, my beautiful friend

everyone is always so happy to see you xxx

Bob, I bet you did have the ' Rona '. You were pretty crook and had that cough for ages. I was reading that many Americans think they may have had it as early as November, so you are probably right on the money. You too Suze .

I found out today, my old netball umpire has just died from it , that's just so sad. He was a lovely man, married for 52 years and 2 daughter's. So that's someone I directly know which is scary.

I'm not sure if he had been on a cruise or not as most of our casualties have come from the Ruby Princess cruise liner. An absolute farce and heads will roll for this huge mistake. They are having a homicide investigation into it now.

All we can do is stay home and save lives. Our grandparents were called to war and went. We are called upon to stay home on our couches. We sure got the better deal.

but as usual, there are always those who think the rules don't apply to them .

croutie, how are you going love? Is everything ok in your neck of the woods.

I'm glad you are keeping inside Mags, I know it's for longer than any of us , but you are safe xx

Agree with you, Snooz on all points! I had a staff member in the US who is convinced she had something she could not shake back in December. I was skeptical at first, but as she told the story, I thought, yes, something to this.

Agree in the Ruby Princess. When that board was off boarding, I was at home isolating from my trip overseas (before it was mandatory to do so). I remember being incredulous at the time at the stupidity of it. Here I am, Joe Ordinary, and evening I knew that anyone from overseas should isolate.

Anyway, I’m probably skating on the edge of political discussions, so I’ll leave it at that. It was a massive mistake however the way it was handled.

Love to all and Leshar, I have fuschia / hot pink fingernails and a matching cardigan today as I go for my walk. That colour reminds me of you, I know you like it! So you are here in spirit!
