Kind of bummed out today.
This virus has days seem longer than they are at work.
And today was review day. I got an excellent review but only a raise that just about covered the increase in my family health plan this year.
Owner is cheap, it's not like the company is not doing well. 2% raise.

Bob, it’s a bit sucky about your raise. We’ve had to take pay cuts to keep our jobs. I know healthcare over there is brutal in its costs, so I’m glad at least you have work coverage and health insurance.

I made that gif....I added the hearts. I was really proud of that. I have a lot of ideas (Nick and I were talking) about the right career direction for me now. I am going back to the start, as Coldplay say....hmmm.....let me sort it out for a day or so before I blurt. I have changed my mind so many times.

Hi all, I hope you’re all safe and well during this horrible time. My work has been closed for just over a week and for another 2 weeks at least. I’ve got a lot of jobs done around the house. If there is a WhatsApp group I’d be happy to send some photos of my handy work (I am not a diy man!) and of the growing children! Stay safe all x

My lounge window has a semi-shaded white polyester blind on it. It stays down, as it keeps the place cool. I did a 'wash' of the window outside today by putting the hose between the window and blind. One of the largest red back spiders I have seen of late, with a very old web (lots of eggs sacks) emerged obviously put out. So long as it stays out there- fine by me- a burglar deterrent.

I’m on about day 10, (of at least 12 weeks) of shielding. I’ve an appointment at the hospital for my injections next week but they’re trying to arrange a home visit and instruct me how to do them myself. They don’t want me outside. I have had a walk in the back yard though, just for my sanity.

such a wonderful milestone that one. I'm usually pretty ok and settled but just saw snippets on the news that unnerved me. I'm feeling a little anxious.
I feel for mothers with young children. I couldn't bear for this to have happened when my babies were young and have no control. I feel for the homeless, whats too become of them when winter comes around. I watched a programme on what was happening in South Africa. It was appalling, they herded all the homeless up and have locked them all inside a huge football arena.
can you imagine what will become of them all in there where there would already be positives.

sorry I'm all gloomy and doomy.....I can't sleep.

I’m so glad you will be staying inside for 12 weeks. We almost lost you last year after that awful bout. It’s the safest place for you to be xx
