Hi guys

good to hear from you Pete , glad things are going well.

Crois i was surprised, i did really well and finished in the top half against players from all over Australia.
I made one massive error thought. The M came up on a triple triple. I played the word FACETIME then second guessed myself and picked the tiles back up.

thinking it could possibly be two words.

well ! My bad beacause it WAS a word and i missed out on 195 points for one word and $100 for best word at the tournament. The next closest to that was 104.
Im still having nightmares over it .

Snoozy, you must’ve kicked yourself! Trust in yourself girl! We have faith in you love. xx

Hiya Julyer buddies.

It’s very windy here today, I’m going over Humber Bridge this morning for my injection treatment at hospital. I always fret a bit because of the volume of traffic and worry I’m going to be late, even though I give myself plenty of time.
Always relieved when we get there.

Take care, see you soon. xx

It was fine thanks Snoozy. I was there half hour early and they saw to me just about straight away.

The sun has come out and no rain. Progress.

Stay well Julyer buddies xx

Well, we now have a national, state of emergency. They shut down all schools in the area. Colleges as well as local schools. NBA, NHL and baseball are off for the month. No crowds and the store shelves are empty of toilet paper and most paper products. Some food items gone and stores are a complete mass of people.
The country is complete lock down except with Great Britain.
Here we go....

Hiya Julyers

Bob, it’s worrying times here too. They’ve not closed the schools yet but give it a few days. The London marathon is delayed until October too. All sports events are now cancelled.

Pete, you have a bit longer to train for the marathon it seems. Don’t give up heart.

Take care and keep safe. xxxx

And they just informed my daughter at college in Florida that they are shutting down. Looks like a road trip for me next week. And she's a senior. So graduation might be off. It's crazy.

My daughters senior year cancelled at a university in Florida.

Graduation, who knows.

I leave this week with the wife,a rented car and a few prayers.

In one week the all plans changed. My work has no idea, but they will get a heads up soon.

Thankfully the school will house the kids free of charge till May if need be. They would just have to work on campus.
My stress level is climbing daily. We have made arraignments for a rental car and for Toby at a local pet resort. This will be a 1200 mile trip one way.

I'm sorry for your stress Bob.
A lot of this is not in our power to fix or change which is stressful in itself.

I believe that all we can do is have the best day to day life we can right now and wait for things to return to normal.

Thanks Dee,
As many know I have great faith in the Lord.
If there's anything I have learned it's that sober is the best way to be in times of trouble. Snap decisions, with clear thought can save the day.
I try not to think about tomorrow or the next. Just focus on the mission of the day. Ut can just be a little stressful when all are looking to you for direction.
But, I got this.

Controlling things is what us alkies do best. Or controlling the wrong things, I should say.

all of us have our own personal reasons for being unsettled, be it due to health, family, work. Everything is a little upside down, but we will get through it. Safe driving Bob. And remember to breathe.x

Thinking of everyone. Particularly Dee and Mags, I know your health issues would be concerning to keep away from the public.

Thinking of everyone.

I binged badly on sugar today. Tells me where my heads at. I’ll start fresh tomorrow.

Love to all.xx

I'm doing ok CW - instead of going out everyday I've cut it back to 2 or 3 times a week and will go further if things get worse.
