Feeling better but achy, sweaty, and a cough.
Last regular season game watched sober.
No plans for NYE....honestly too old for what I pulled the years' past.
Haven't been smoking much but no plans quitting.

Ugh. Back at work and there's not much Christmas spirit here. The decorations in the office have been taken down already and there's lots of grumpy people stomping around. Zero interest in my Lapland photos. Zero. And I bought everyone in the office the most delicious gingerbread back from Lapland. Wish I'd eaten it all myself now! Oh well, I think they're suffering from what I call Chrimbo limbo. This is a specific low mood that can occur in the days between Christmas and New year. Lovers of Christmas - like me - we feel sad because Christmas is over and haters of Christmas - like my colleagues - they feel irritated because Christmas isn't really over, it kind of carries on until new year and they just want life to return to normal. They've had more than enough of Christmas songs and Christmas jumpers and eating too much and seeing too much of family. They just want to go on a diet, return most of their gifts, get their homes looking back to normal and start planning for summer. Chrimbo limbo. It's tough for all of us but it will soon pass. Sadly. I'm going to cry when I take my decorations down 😭. At least I'll always have my crystal elf to look at and remind me that next Christmas is only months away!

Your colleagues are just rude. Seriously. I like your explanation, but maybe there is one more ingredient in there. Lots of alcohol. Maybe peeps are hungover. And annoyed that NYE is on a Tuesday, because it's hard to justify getting really hammered in the middle of the week.

We would have been thrilled with your photos....yes please....and your gingerbread.....might be a bit too much to get you to send it to all of us though.
