9:48 pm and checking in on a rainy night in Southern California. I have been under the weather this week, I actually stayed home Monday and Tuesday because I had a fever and felt all around yucky, which means my work week will be two days this week. I am off this Friday, and all next week.
I hope everyone is having a great week. Congrats to all celebrating a milestone.

Hi D., I do hope you are getting better. My sweet Ken has been feeling poorly. He went to band practice tonight, got home about a 1/2 hour ago looking terrible. Up at 5:30am to go to work though. My poor honey.
We also had rain today, quite a bit, was wonderful! I even had the heat on ... WTH??!! Yeah .. always hot Bobbi was actually cold in the house today . LOL!!
I'm in for my next 24, hoping I can get a good night's sleep with the heater on. Leaving it on for my sick hubby.

Morning all. Its 9.10 am here in the UK. Please count me in for another 24 hours sober and clean. Congratulations to those celebrating a milestone, my thoughts and prayers go out to those suffering and struggling.

Oh No! Yesterday was the first time in 7 weeks I didn't check in. The hubby has caught the Norovirus and it was a rough day. He's been really ill.
I have 7 WEEKS today!! I'm really pleased and I feel I am in proper recovery. Just a baby in recovery but I've got here.

Congratulations on 7 weeks Gabe! Congratulations to everyone celebrating a milestone today. I'm sorry your husband is sick, Gabe ☹️ I was reading about the norovirus this morning as it's currently rampaging throughout the UK. Apparently the best advice is to wash hands regularly with soap and warm water. Alcohol hand gels do NOT kill the virus. Which I guess is yet another example, if we need one, of how water is far superior to alcohol. Apparently symptoms last 48 hours Gabe so hopefully your husband will be feeling much better soon. Wishing Ken a speedy recovery too BarbieKen xx

A sober new year's eve waiting for the wife to end work and I got 24 hour bug...going from both ends non-stop...wound up in the ER and admitted overnight. Pre-cell phone days so for two hours I couldn't tell my wife where I was. She was none to pleased. Finally, with medications the symptoms stopped, and I drained 3 iv bags. And, I did it sober mind you.
Okay up early and requesting 24 hours of sobriety, with sides of clean time and sanity, but going back to sleep. Icky Rainy Standard Time at 0600.
