Thank you so much everyone for all the awesome advice yesterday. When my husband got home yesterday, I was worried he would still be grumpy, but he was fine. In fact he helped me clear up after dinner and helped get the younger kids into bed at bedtime. I think he must have thought about what I said and decided he is going to help me more. He didn't say so, he is a man of few words (total opposite of me!) But he didn't need to say anything .... Helping with the washing up after dinner was worth a thousand words!! Who would have thought that feeling feelings, identifying feelings and then expressing those feelings in a calm yet assertive way can result in positive outcomes all round! And to think I used to drink all those feelings away. What a waste. Congratulations to all celebrating milestones today and 24 more for me please xxx

Hey everyone, just checking in. I知 still very much here, and thanks for all your kind words...
Missed a few days checking in due mainly to being tired, and getting sidetracked then forgetting...
So, my 6 month anniversary, and my belly button birthday came and went. I知 taking on more responsibilities at work which has lead to my spending more time there than anywhere else.
I知 now keyholder for my homegroup meeting
Things are changing in my life and I知 very grateful.
The beginning of a new romance has taken me slightly by surprise, but going gently and with consideration.
Lots of work on and having to travel to wales for an overnight stay on Thursday.
All sorts of stuff going on but I知 sober and I like a challenge...
