Morning Overs

SE, I’m pleased you got to go see your grandmother

Listening to Cat Stevens and the 70’s music. feeling a bit asthmatic at the mo. I’ve got the steroids if I need them.

Have a good Sunday my friends xxxx

Good morning Overs.

SE

Mags I hope the asthma holds off.

I went to the widow/er group yesterday. Good laughs and sharing as usual.

Andy, your widow/ers group sounds like a good way to get back into socializing.

Mags, I hope you feel better!

SE, good to hear baby K is so well cared for while you are away and also good that you are getting to visit your mom and grandma.

Have a good day to all.

Mags, I still love music from the 70's. Of course, that is what I grew up listening to. There was such incredible variety back then. And people actually played their instruments. Things are very different today.

Take care all!

Morning Overs

Andy, I’m pleased the widowers group is enjoyable.

Star, yeah, the bands were real!

I started on the steroids yesterday, not sure what brought the asthma on, who knows, could be because of the cold I’ve had. I’m at the docs at 10am, besides the asthma I’ve got a burning red rash on my legs and arms, driving me crazy. The meds for it aren’t working.

I’m trying to think through the annoyance of it all.

Have a good Monday my friends xxxx

Morning Overs

Thanks for all your kind thoughts, I so much appreciate it.
I’m on a bit of a downer. Had a bad night, asthma settled but allergic reaction. To what, I’ve not idea, I went outside so it could be airborne. Had a burning rash all night. Had my epi pen to hand (I always do) but my breathing was ok so I didn’t use them.
I’m at nurses office soon for a flu jab. I think I must have a virus of something, plus anaphylactic though not a full blown attack. Blood pressure high. I’m on top of it all and anything amiss I’ll use the epi pens and ring ambulance. Hopefully it won’t come to that.

Have a good day my friends and thanks for listening. Xxxx
Sorry about the moan Overs, I’ll soon get my mojo back. Just sometimes there’s one thing after another, health wise.

I'm sorry you feel poorly Mags - not moaning at all
I hope you find out what the problem is.

Mags, I don’t think of what you are doing as moaning. Sometimes frustration and misery are too much and a pair (or multiple pairs) of listening ears can help ease the feeling of being alone. For all of us with addiction issues, I think it’s especially important to not sit in misery AND feeling alone

Have a good day to all!

We can be anaphylactic together....I am in a terrible mess again....one wrong food item and my forehead is covered in the red rash again....I can't help scratching when I sleep....I look like Frankenstein's monster.

And I am wheezing big time.

I should have put this post in Whiners.

SO much love dear Mags and I hope your rash improves.....I am using QV Eczema Outbreak relief cream and it is fabulous....it is from Australia though. Why on earth don't they make it here and in the UK? There might be a similar one there....just wanted to mention it as it makes a huge difference for me and you could slather it on your legs.

Also.....what about calamine lotion? Surely that would help and do no harm? s ❤️
