Class of June 2019 part 4
Ooooooo 6 months! Congrats nadt!
6 months definitely feels like a special milestone. I'm about a week away. It will be my longest continuous stretch of sobriety in 6 years. I'm SUPER excited!

Glad to hear of everyones 6 month mark coming around. It does feel great and is great. I'll have my 6 months tomorrow. While its hard to say just how much is due to me quitting drinking my work situation and therefore my life situation is a much better now than it has been in years. I doubt it a coincidence. Way to go nadt, good to hear your doing good.

Hi everyone - nadt, first past the the post I think. Huge congratulations! And to you too Abraham.
Shortstop - you and I must be almost neck to neck. Another week to go for me too.
Who would have thought (dared hope) that when we made the decision to stop drinking at more or less at the beginning of the summer, that we'd still be sober in winter. So wonderful to have got to this stage and to know this is now a permanent life choice.
Hi Venus - lots of love to you, as always.
Hi Dee - wave in your direction and, as usual, massive thanks for make no such a difference,

Hi Abraham - just think, this time next year we'll be celebrating over 18 months of sobriety! That's to look forward to. I hope your job is still going well and I wish you a very happy holiday.
Venus - hope everything is very well with you. Xx

I'd never heard of Defiance so I looked it up. I see it even has a punk rock band named after it! So glad everything is still going well for you Abraham - despite the early morning starts - and now great is it that we will be celebrating a sober New Year.
Hi Venus- I'm away for a week from tomorrow although I should still be able to do some posting but just in case. Happy New Year to you and enormous thanks for your all your support, and your friendship, since June.

I wouldn't know. I come in when it's dark out and leave when it's dark out. No windows in this place. It was a little wet though this morning. Looks like lots of rain comming. I live just north of detroit so basically the same weather. I'm here in defiance till sunday or monday night. Probably would not even be here if I was still drinking.
