My husband just said, are you sure Suze isn’t pronounced Su-zee. For years I’ve been thinking Suze like Sooz in my head when I read posts. I might be a moron! Thinking now of Suze Orman, who is clearly Su-zee variety. Doh!

Did you ever see that tv series with Susan Sarandon showing how much Bette Davis and Joan Crawford hated each other in real life? Hysterical! I guess that scene where Bette picks up Joan from the wheelchair, Joan put heavy rocks in her pocket just to torture Bette. There were several takes. Ha!

I remember that! I heard also that when they did the scene where she was kicking her on the floor, Joan Crawford insisted on using a dummy instead because she didn't trust her. And when presented with the idea for the movie, Bette Davis said something like "If you think I'm gonna play that bitch in the wheelchair you're crazy"
