Happy Sunday morning everyone.

Kind of a little gloomy here with some rain. I don't think in qualifies as clabberdy though, BBG

I had big omelet and plenty of startin' fluid. I need to get my brain into holiday mode now - it's not such a crazy time, like when the kids were younger, but there's still a few things to get done.

Have a great day!!

Mornin' March friends. Sippin' startin' fluid and gettin' ready for sausage 'n biscuit.

MITA we must have the same weather. A little gloomy here too, but not really clabberdy!

13th you're on my mind. How ya' doin' this morning?

Turns out I'll be celebrating Christmas a little early w/ my family this year, since my sister will be in town at the same time. So I have Christmas Eve and day wide open.....not sure why that makes me a little anxious.....guess I'll stick close to SR and have more time for me! Mindful crap

Hope everyone is doing okay

Coffee and tummy bugs do not go well together, so I am half asleep and freezing today. And hungry.

All good tho.

Weather is pretty gross here too. Not clabberdy, just gloomy.

Cool video, PHX.

Hope you feel better, Suze.

I get you, MITA. With our children now adults it's just different.

Purps, I understand that anxiety. Go volunteer somewhere. I'm sure you could serve at a homeless shelter, walk some dogs, all kinds of things. Don't stay home and get in your head.

Hey, BBG.

Thinking of you, 13th.

Have an awesome day, friends.

Good evening friends. Thank you for the support and thinking of me. Still trying to get the consumption down which I know for many is a fool's errand. It probably is for me as well.

Upside: I have a doctor appointment soon and can once again have the discussion. The downside is plainly obvious.

Sorry I've once again been so one-sided and not responding to what anyone else is doing.

Be as selfish as you need to be, 13th. Take care of you, first. Then you give back. I promise, it’ll happen.

Melbourne was something like 35 yesterday and 18 today so I think you're better off where you are Suze

13th - what Bobbie said. You;re fighting for your life - I[m sure everyone here understands that -no one expects you to do any more than that right now.

Good morning marchers. I think the weather in my little corner of the world classifies as clabbardy this morning. Startin' fluid!!!

Hang in there 13th. It's not easy, I know, but it's soooo worth it.

I could handle some 35 right now Dee. s

13th love....what everyone else said. Just be here.
We care so much about you.

And if you mean that you are trying to drink a bit less every day, I don't think that is a bad idea at all. It is in fact how I stopped in 2013. I planned it....I was at 2 bottles of wine per night, from about 5pm till 8 at the latest....a lot. I went up to 2 litres a night a few times. No clue how I survived that.

So I made a plan....I wanted to get down slowly. I had tried stopping and thought I was going to die.....and I was afraid of having seizures. I went down a little bit every night....and finally got down to one bottle. I thought that was a miracle. And then 3/4, 2/3....I remember the night I only had a half bottle. I was almost dancing a jig.

And the thing is, I was starting to feel better. My head was clearer. I was happier and I could see the light at the end of the tunnel. I had the other half of that bottle on the 3rd of February (I think) and came here and posted and joined a class and started my sober life.

I just was sent an email from my Art School lecturer- I passed. Lots of positives. All I feel is profound sadness...for many reasons, or maybe just a few...such as not having a family who wants to know me much.
A sense of relief though. It was by far the most difficult subject and the most frustrating. Considering 4y ago, I was thought to be so cognitively damaged I would need round the clock care- a win, but I just feel such sadness and tired.

PJ - your pass is significant and I'm glad for you.
Others will come along and quietly rejoice with you, I'm sure.

Respect.
