Oh lord! Who knew? Life is so much more complicated than I thought.

I was in a well known toy shop recently and I noticed that the people admiring the train sets were all old men. All the kids wanted drones. I bought my niece a small drone last year. I might get her a larger one this year but that seems unimaginative.

I met a guy once who told me his parents only gave him tools as gifts, never a finished product. He grew to invent and play unique musical instruments. He became quite the artist. Of course, he grew up in the woods without television or internet, and he was home schooled. Society is so bent these days; I don't know how parents do it.

Sometimes I am really glad that I am old. Sometimes I even wish I was older. I think life was a lot less complicated during my childhood and probably less before then. I like that "what would Gilmer do?" thing!

They had some snow up north but it no longer snows in London, or at least it no longer settles on the rare occasions that it does.

We had snow this morning. Only a smattering, not enough to settle much. I hope Chippy isn’t too cold in the snow. He could do with a coat.
