Good evening everyone. Wrapping up day 29 here. Tomorrow is day 30 for me.

Sorry you're looking at a possible autoimmune thing, Mike, but congrats on two weeks!

yes, congrats Mike on 2 weeks and Daria on 30 days! yeah

An emotional day here but no temptation to drink over it, so I am grateful.

Goodnight all!

Congrats, Daria! 30 days -- that's great!!

Well done on not drinking, Quitnow. I'm sorry to hear you had an emotional day -- how are you feeling today?

I'm up early this Sunday. Sleep has been a little more elusive these days. I do feel a little better today, though. I'll be heading to the Renaissance Festival in my area with my wife, sister, and some friends. It's going to be a nice day for it, too. I won't be clad in Renaissance gear, but I will be wearing a Monty Python shirt .

Have a great day, everyone.

Hello all, Checking in.

Mike, Congrats on 60 days! Awesome job. Autoimmune issues are really tough to diagnose and the process of waiting for tests is stressful. Take care of yourself.

Daria - 30 days is awesome! Congratulations!

Bob- Glad you are keeping busy.

Karen - I hope you find a new job soon and can find a less stressful environment.

Runner - Enjoy your game!

Venus - Thank you for all you do; your wisdom is invaluable to us. Always such great advice.

Had a stressful day yesterday, but glad we had a successful, fun party for the kids. Today is day 45 for me. Feeling major relief from temptation, but do not want to be complacent, so I am going to work for it.

You got through a tween party sober.....that is nothing to sneeze at. ❤️
Getting through a tween party at all is medal worthy in my opinion.

Congrats on 45 days love, and congrats on anyone's day count that I may have missed.... s

Hey Venus, I'm not too bad, thanks for asking. It's raining and there is not grass in my back yard, so it's a challenge for Charley. The older dog just gets his feet muddy, Charley rolls and digs and looks like a drowned rat. He's a good boy about getting rinsed off, though.
To be honest, I am having a lot of pain, inside and out. Not sure what the body pain is about, and I know I need to go to the doctor. I will make it my number two priority tomorrow to make an appointment. I kept thinking maybe it's just part of getting sober, but now, at 47 day, I think it may be more than that. I keep forgetting to take my vitamins. Need to set an alarm for them.
The inner pain is feeling sad and rejected after what happened at work. I meet with my boss tomorrow, and am very nervous about it. I'm very nervous about just going to work. I want very much to call them and tell them I'm not coming back. But, money.
Other than all that, I am really grateful for being sober, for having a home and a great dog, and for SR. And sobriety books and videos.
Hugs to all, thanks for 'listening'.

Yes, hang in there love...... s

I definitely think a doctor visit is a good idea. s
And re work.....gosh, you didn't do anything wrong. At all.
There is no reason to feel guilty....this other person caused this.....you get along well with the kitchen staff.

Try to think of it this way ~ your boss knows you are the reasonable one and she/he is going to sit down with you and get you to help work out a solution.

I know I felt so bad about this sort of thing always, but we are sober and don't have reason to feel ashamed or worried....it is just hard to let go of that kind of response I think. xx
