One Year and Under Club Part 63
Wisc that is great, it sounds like he has a real belief in your ability to put the necessary work in to reach your goals.
I have no shame these days talking about my battle with the drink. It is a big part of who I am, and I am so proud to have achieved what I have. I also feel that too many out there, hide their drink problems, thinking they are alone and feeling all kinds of guilt and shame which in turn leads to drink to obviate. If I help one person to find the peace I have these days? It's worth opening myself up.
Good on you Willow, sounds like you need to find new excitement! We have a road trip across the west coast planned next June/July, going across to the Grand Canyon etc. Yes it's the 'are you mad, do you want to die?' weather, but hey, we're British! So plenty of adventure in our future!

toots!: and I'd love to visit Scotland, England, Wales...especially the White Cliffs of Dover. You could always put Wisconsin in your plans but it's far from the West Coast and pretty boring....Though the Great Lakes are awesome. If you could make a 12 step meeting that would be awesome.

Kind of wrote myself out on another thread, early-risers, but today marks...17 weeks + 1 day. For a good majority I chalk up to you all members, reading and sharing...making a commitment to post here.
Well done Wisc
Toots, that trip sounds wonderful! I’ve always wanted to visit the Grand Canyon. One day.... it’s on my bucket list
Next overseas trips though, are (hopefully) New Zealand and Scotland (not in the same trip lol!). I also want to go to Africa and see some of their amazing wildlife ❤️

Let me know when you come to Scotland Willow and I will give you some pointers!
Wisc, well done mate you are doing great! I wish I could visit more of your wonderful country, when we lived in Boston we saw a lot of New York State, Vermont, Maine and of course Mass. we also did a trip from Atlanta through Alabama into Louisiana and spent some time in New Orleans. We also saw some of Florida when we did a trip with our daughter and grandson a few years ago. You have such awesome territory in your country, so different from state to state.

Not too much to report...doing well...up early and sober.
The majority of my six years in the navy was sober travel and saw a lot of the world. U.K. and Norway I would revisit, and definitely see Australia.
