Would be nice to see some snow, but not too much as working in car sales, not many people go to look at cars in the snow!

Do car sales go up at Christmas, Pete? I’m out of touch when new cars arrive.

Quite the opposite really. I have had a really really good year but December is typically quiet. I have done a couple today though so not too bad.

I was going to say it might be different depending on your hemisphere.
It is a HUGE time for car buying in Aus. End of year clearance and Jan = new models.

Big day for you, Snooz!

Love the energy!

Toby is gorgeous, Bob. Beautiful boy.

I’m OK. Setting goals for next year. Occasional melancholy from the breakup. It passes. It’s going to be a wild few weeks, my ex’s bday, Xmas, knowing he and his family and his ex wife will be playing happy families while his family visits. Really have to protect myself from too much pain and sadness. I passed an anniversary not too badly. I just have to have a back up plan for next Saturday and the weeks I know his family are visiting from overseas and I’m cut out of everything. It feels cruel, but necessary.

Been putting plans in place this month for more saving, how to connect with my new community and make new social circles.

Gentle on myself for December.

Love to you, Leshar. Thought of how you must be missing Tiki.

And love to all.xx

Morning Julyers

Pete, great news that your weekend was good, Sunday nights were always a bit of a downer for me when I worked, knowing what laid ahead.
Have a good week at work, I hope it all goes well.
Don’t forget to pop in here when you can.

Love to all.

Thanks Mags. Works a bit dull at the moment as it’s December but going to work sober is great. I haven’t actually gone to work with a hangover since June thankfully.

We had the pictures back from Alex and Lily’s Christmas photo shoot so il upload some of those for you all near Xmas day =]

Morning Julyers

Hope you’re all keeping well. I’m off for my flu jab this morning.

Hope the build up to Christmas isn’t too hectic for everyone.

Take care xx

Not hectic for me. I’m buying absolutely nothing, no visitors until the 3rd, I can’t freaking wait!!!!

Remember all the Drama 2 of my kids caused last year? Well my son was going to be visiting a friend here at Xmas and I said I’m not prepared to see him unless it’s to go to a counsellor together.

It was an ugly phone call, but my boundary is a 3rd person to meditate or no contact. I’m at peace with that.

Yes, I remember like it was yesterday. I am still angry with both of your kids for treating you like that. And very glad you get PEACE this year love!! s xx

And me too....all the way....no Christmas anything. Just a few gifts sent off to Nick's parents and aunt, and something for the boys....long story that I don't discuss, but the step-mum thing did not exactly work out. I won't go into it online, but I will say that after being kind of upset for a long time, I am now very relieved. I know that sounds awful.

I agree with Suze,
That only seems like yesterday Crois. How time flies, its quite scary really.

But im with you . No presents this year , popping over to Mum and Dads for a bit of lunch, nothing fancy & im so happy.

The kids are all doing their own thing with partners, so its just Shaun and I.
His birthday is the day after so ive got him a nice present and a gold pass to the movies,.

Hope you check in S. Miss you Leshar , can you please message me honey.
Croutie, what are you and your family doing this year love?
Will you be seeing your son and the grand children.

I think of you often and always are hopeful you are in a good place.
Im wishing you nothing but love and happiness sweetheart

Thinking of all of you, my awesome July buddies xx

And so there should be, Pete!

Are you all sorted with a plan for any temptation coming into Xmas? (Sorry to bang on, but just trying to support x)

Suze, Wendy, thanks for caring. I’m so glad we are reclaiming care for ourselves first. It’s vital. Won’t discuss here, but yes, I think I understand where you are coming from, Suze - you and I are similar in we try to “be the best” at caring for everyone, but sometimes caring is just stepping away and letting control go and caring for ourselves. I found that very hard as a step mum - it’s a tough gig.
