Congratulations to all celebrating milestones today

Had a wonderful day yesterday, it was a scorcher so I stopped by the mall on the way home and got ice cream. I had a BOGO and picked up one for my fiance (Henry), I also went by a shop and bought a nice cotton outfit. Forecast another hot day...going to pick up a gal for the NA meeting this morning then head to the library for step work with a sponsee. After that, I'll either go to the treatment center and work with a sponsee or head to transitional living facility where one of my sponsees lives. I'm picking her up and taking her with me to my evening AA meeting...somewhere in there, I'll treat myself to something to eat. Mondays are always filled with service work and meetings.

Um, Sammy darling, that movie is a big part of the reason I am here....I had this feeling since I was 10 years old....after seeing those red heels click, that I was supposed to be in the midwest. I even put it in my wedding vows....I was drawn here.

And it is only my third time ever, and Nick is a HUGE Halloween person, so we are going to have mega-fun this year.....I have spooky trees that light up with evil green eyes and there is a soundtrack and it is scary.
