I’m back from LA. Why anyone lives there is beyond me! Not a bad meeting though after all.
Tonight...watching a Padres baseball game with my two daughters in a luxury skybox. Company sponsored ladies night. I’m so excited to get to show my girls this nice thing and spend time with them.

Saturday morning ~ this afternoon I'm going to a fundraiser for the Humane Society.....the cost includes beer which I'm not too worried about; there will be other food and drink there too (It's at a restaurant/tavern) so I guess I just need to have my guard up in case the "F-it...Just a couple beers won't hurt" voice creeps in....Plus there will be adoptable animals there, which is what I'm looking forward to the most!

I just know that I love hearing about Australia and would like to visit there...for like a year. And if a charming accent seeps into my soul....all the better.

Purp, Love the doggie pictures! In my moments of “hey just one won’t kill ya” I do think of my dogs and wanting to be here on this planet with them. Silly I know, but I don’t want to disappoint them.
The fridge at the skybox last night was full of beer. Daughters were with me, and had the same feeling.

Afternoon check in for me. Got out for a bit this morning and then crashed on the couch for an hour. I need to go to the store now - the cupboards are bare 
A little work travel this week - actually starting tomorrow, and then I come back home on Friday. Nothing too stressful - (I don't have to save a client, Lillian!!), other than the travel itself. I've got a dinner planned one night with a couple of my cousins. One of them is sober for like 20 years and I've never seen the other one drink, but I don't think he's in recovery - I think he just does not drink. Also dinner one other night with the guy who was my Best Man. We have not seen each other much over the past few years, so it will be nice to catch up. He's a "normie", but he won't give me a hard time about not drinking.

Checking in, back home and the fundraiser was pretty packed ~ so that's a good thing! The beer didn't even look as inviting as the water they provided since it's so hot out....I gladly drank cold water and got to pet all the adoptable dogs, plus a few that patrons brought from home.....so stinking cute
