Off to my elderly relie's in the hills for lunch and to collect soil. The plants I saved from being trashed which are still in pots are going bunta and need to be thinned out. No soil here-all covered in bark chips and it would not be appropriate to did up community soil.

Well! No one in white noise land??

Went to the relie's..got my soil (100kg all uo over a year). Had a feed- my Aunt bought a huge, chunky steak pie- that was filling just to look at it. Took some home.

Then attacked the 2 biggest rootbound potted plants (spider ferns, cannas and stuff). I keep them watered well, but they just came out of the 20 inch high pots easily. The roots were so interwoven- I had to basically 'section' off plant sections by hacking away with a meat cleaver (all good). Like slicing bread.

Big walk planned later. I borrow lots of doco's from lots of public libraries. One is getting smart- I do not get reminders from them anymore because I am overdue. They send me a reminder of when they are due. So also a library drop off.

Hardly blockbuster stuff, but given where I was 4y ago...

Hope the repotted plants do ok.

Hi friends, sorry I haven't been in much contact with our class....trying not to post too much personal stuff but pushing froward....and trying not to beat myself up about the past, then wasting time beating myself up about it anyway!

Checking in with startin' fluid

another overthinker (like me) purps?

BBG- they were my 'go to' Aunt and Uncle. They have lived on the same hill, in the hills (from big house to reno cottage) for 45y. They are solid, safe- good people. Like you hear in old movies 'he is a good man'. Well they are. Rescuing my dysfunctional family from many a crisis- from school fees, to providing casual work (Earthmover). When my surviving bro bailed on me last year and flatly refuse to be my NOK for the hand procedures (he was NOK when I got the burns, dumped on him by my ex who refused) I asked these relies to be my NOK. A solid family.

I've been a little absent from posting, too. Hope your personal situation is getting better Purps. We are always hardest on ourselves - take a big breath and try and practice that mindfulness crap

PJ, very happy for you, your "relies" and the plants!!!

Hey BBG and Venus!!!

Happy Hump Day

I wonder how a sho[ seeling only food/bevvies that are coffee based would go? Coffee fruit, coffee mashed potatoes, coffee meat....

mind there is a recipe my ex used to do really well- 'Swedish roast lamb'...that had coffee in it- to baste the lamb with.

I have to have another coffee to check and see what happened to the first one.

Yes space cadets, thanks for being here.
Productive day, although not 'satisfying'...life, huh?
Exercise, cello practice, piano practice, drawing practice- rinse, repeat. My right hand is doing things it would not do before- but piano keys demand a certain dexterity which is hard won...practice until hand gets very sore- then stop. Working. Music- like art is excellent for neuroplasticity....slow as it is.

Good morning gang. I've been up for a while, but I'm jut now getting my coffee going. I need some food too!

This week seems to be a "plugging along" week for a few of us. I'm not doing anything great, but just getting stuff done. Trying to keep an upbeat attitude

Be good ...
