Signing up for 24 hours drink and drug free. 7:37am in Jacksonville, Florida.

Congratulations to all celebrating milestones today!!

The doggie party was a blast!! Great food for humans and furbabies alike. It was a beautiful day weather-wise, too. Change from my usual Monday activities because I'm taking my sponsor to the hospital for a procedure this morning. The rest of the day's plans will be centered around that. Hopefully, everything will go well and I'll be able to attend my regular AA meeting this evening.

So great to see you here Jo!! I echo everything Suze said, we're all here for you. And look at all the challenges life is throwing you and you are dealing with each and every one sober. That shouldn't be underestimated. We're so good at focussing on all the stuff we think we're doing wrong, what about all the stuff we're doing right? It will work out ok Jo, everything will fall into place. Just stay strong and sober and remember you're never on your own.

Treesofgreen, I salute you! Organising 615 families??? You're a superhero without a cape! Or maybe you have a cape, I wouldn't know but the point is, you're off-the-chart awesome. It's a shame your ex had to be negative and grumpy but don't let that deflect from your success. Easier said than done I know .... I always obsess about the one negative person in a room full of smiles but when you think about it, why do we let negative people have so much power over our minds? If anything, they're deserving of pity. We can listen to the negativity and then move on. Negative people have to live in negativity all the time. That must be grim. Well done for all your hard work and for rising above xxx

Checking in 1351 Need to pick up my check walk to the bank and come directly home. No walking to the gas station for alcohol. I can do it. Most days I think drunkenly before the drinking. Let's see.
