8:49 on and checking in for another 24. It has been a busy week back at work, but it’s also been a great one. Today was our Leadership retreat, it was the perfect blend of goal setting and fun. I’m so excited about the work I’ll be doing this year. I love my job.
I’m looking forward to the weekend. My middle kiddo has three friend so sleeping over tonight, High school girls are definitely entertaining when you listen in to their conversations (without getting caught of course!) My oldest is off to babysit, her sister was supposed to but she forgot, and since she has friends over I asked her if she would. I know she really didn’t want to be up late because she’s has practice early, but she also like she having money so off she went.
My little guy is chatting with his friend as he plays Fortnite, my husband is off playing hockey, and I am reading Hush, by Kate White. Good easy read.
Congrats to all celebrating a milestone. Have a great weekend everyone!

My little family is away till late tonight too!
Sweet Ken has a late Gig.
And Mark is in downtown L.A. at a EMO Event. Yeah, EMO?! He went through this dark hair, eyeliner, music phase in early High School. I guess I'm out of the loop .... again!
So, it's me & the kitty's, which I ❤️.
Count me in for my next 24 ....

Read your post quickly BarbieKen and thought Mark was going to an EMU event in downtown LA. Actually thought, 'Wow! Fancy having all those ostrich-type creatures hanging out in LA! How cool'. I'm really really out of the loop.
Glad you're ok Crossyourheart and so pleased it's been a nice return to work for you Delilah. We're off to a chilli festival today. Went a few years ago and the highlight was the chilli eating contest. I didn't take part. This contest is for serious chilli eaters .... And a few optimistic people who quickly learn they are way out of their depth. Very entertaining to watch tho. Hope everyone has a wonderful day. 24 more for me please xxxx

Saturday morning and ready for another 24 
Today is the annual "Adoptapalooza" where the area animal rescue shelters get together.....there will be over 100 adoptable animals there
I'm going w/ my sister and her kids; it's gonna be bittersweet since I love animals so much, but can't have pets where I currently live....I'll be like
