I am sorry to have been a bit lax with checking in recently though I have continued to lurk, lol....
Life continues to improve, slowly but surely & coping with life on life's terms thank goodness.

10:56 pm in California and checking in for another 24. Just got back from watching the World Cup with my daughters. We went to a free event downtown and watched it on the big screen with hundreds of other fans, great game and festive atmosphere. I’m going to relax some today, and get things organized to work tomorrow, it’s the only day I’m working this week. My husband is taking the kids to his mom’s house because his brother and family are visiting from Tennessee. I have been over two of the past three days, so giving myself permission to skip the family craziness for a day.

Good evening dear 24ers. It's 8.30 pm UK time and I'm in bed with a peppermint tea. My first food binge free day in a long time. I had to buy some new "fat" clothes for the summer today and spending time in the changing rooms has curved my appetite somewhat. I've decided to see it as a good thing and a small start towards better self care.
I'm still very delicate after my melt down on Friday. But I did get up out of bed quite willingly at 8 this morning and have enjoyed my day.
I just wanted to say thank you to everyone who keeps this wonderful site going every day. What a wonderful thing you all do for so many people
