Good Morning, SR. Committing to another 24 hours of sanity. Kenton, I know what you mean about those drinking dreams. I find them horrible, but it’s always such a relief when you wake up and realize that you haven’t drank after all.

I just need to get my social security number (going tomorrow) and then I start my training....it's a crisis text line.....what a great idea I think....and the shifts are going to be very very early morning/late night....not too many I hope. Plus it will be lovely to have a job counselling, wonderful for me and good for my resume here in the States. Still need another job that actually pays

, so that's next.

have been on you tube a bit watching things on Judy Garland.. golly she was harmed so much to have all of us love her so much..

I am in kids and beans . it was a hard weekend to hot and Eddie lee kept fainting. have gone over everything we are eating again and put the surgery socks on him on Friday.. so far it has been better for the fainting .. but this day is just the mile marker of 3 months out from surgery on heart.. today in April .. he knew who I was a bit. and his Mom and Sister were there to help during the day.. got to call them.. travel for any more then a few miles is to much for moment in the car and heat for him. just yet.. we just keep trying...

stay strong find something that makes you laugh and relax. We have been watching the old BBC Last of the Summer Wine programs. the 3 men are so silly. what did he say .. and we rewind to listen again.. ahahahhahah Noarh Batty you put up with so much . ahahhahah love ardy..

Good Morning all,
I've been traveling (for work) a lot over the last year. I don't post a lot but it's great knowing SR is always here for me if and when I need you. last week I was in Union City, CA.(I live in TX) I have an app called Meeting Guide where I can find an AA meeting wherever I go. I went to a meeting in Fremont which I really enjoyed, Anyway I told my sponsor about it and he knew of the group and also told me to look up the 5 Cities group as this was the group he got sober at 26 years ago. I found the group and went to a meeting. I don't know how to explain it beside for saying it was very cool/spiritual.
I'm back in CA this week but was able to bring my wife, next week I'll be in MS. with all this rambling I'm committed to another 24 alcohol/drug free hours.
Thank you all for helping this alcoholic.

Another 24 please. I had a very painful visit to the dentist today and my first tooth removal...not a pleasant experience is it?!

So tonight I am eating mashed bananas and yoghurt. I did enjoy when the dentist said to me “no alcohol for at least 48 hours”....it will be longer than that
