You mean now love? Or before today....not sure. s
Love.....we all need to learn better coping mechanisms.....life is not easy peasy. So this is the universe reminding you: this way sucks. It can't be an option for us....it isn't an option for us. So let's just get through this part together....one day at a time, and they we can help you work out new strategies to make your life more cope-able. Yes? Yes. s ♥

Glad you're doing better Babs, regroup and add some more tools, whatever you need to do.

As much as I don't like cold weather I think I am ready for winter to get here this year. Yesterday evening I went outside to mow the yard, I got by the shed in the corner and I guess I startled a swarm of hornets. They got me like crazy. I must have been stung 15 to 20 times, they also got Nature Boy a few times before I could get him in the house, I think they got Aunt Bee once, but she ran inside immediately and I think only got stung once.

Then after that, I'm not sure whether it was a reaction to the stings or some minor food poisoning but I got fairly sick for the night. Sickness is gone today but a few of the stings are still very sore. We all took some Benadryl last night and dogs seem to be fine today.

Been hunting down nests and spraying them today, hopefully I got them all, if not I have about 10 cans of wasp killer here.

Hope everyone is well.

Ouch Ken, that sounds really painful. I hope you all recover well. Give NB a smoochy hug from me when he's not too sore! ( and Aunt B too!)

I thankfully, noticed the beginnings of a nest being built under the eaves in our Spanish home and Mr T dealt with it quick smart. If I hadn't seen it, they'd have had another 5 weeks to work on it before we were over next.

How are you doing Babs?

Ken, wow! Lucky you aren’t seriously allergic to the stings though I would’t want to see you try that again. Good that Aunt Bee got by with one sting though I imagine Nature Boy wasn’t too happy!

Babs, keep working on it! Are you going back to AA?

OMG....you poor love.
That is AWFUL.

And yes, that could make you very sick. I would 100% go to the doctor today....really. For me, I am allergic to wasps, so if hornets are like that I would be dead if that had happened to me. Unless someone was here to grab my epipen. Gosh, I am so upset for you.....and bad things need to stop happening to you this year. Enough already. We may need to wrap you in bubble wrap to keep you safe I have a cupboard full here.

Hope you feel better dear Ken.

Babs, big hugs kiddo. Starting over is hard, but glad you came back.

You had some serious sobriety under your belt, was it really as simple as you fancied a drink? The many times I relapsed, the actual drinking was pretty much the culmination of a relapse process.

Can you try something that you’ve never done before? Add a new tool to your toolbox? Drinking is never a good option. It always makes **** worse.
