If anyone has an extra ounce of strength that they won’t be needing today, I could us it. 
I’m sure it’ll be fine, and of course I’m pledging to not drink today, but people that I can’t avoid are pushing my buttons right now, and that old familiar remedy has crept into the old psyche a few times. I’ll beat this like I beat all the other cravings, just hoping I guess that saying it will help!! Have a Good Friday and weekend everyone!!

Good luck Crossyourheart! You will be fine. You're so strong and smart and calm......you will be absolutely fine. And when the unavoidable people press your buttons, take a few deep breaths and observe them as an outsider would. Become curious about their words and behaviour. Identify it as being odd. But remember that you don't have to respond to the oddness. And if you find your mind being pulled in a direction you'd rather not go, take a deep breath and observe your own mind. As an outsider would. Sounds weird but it is possible. Think about your own mind as you would a mischievous toddler, notice where it's going and then pull it back. You can't control what others say or do but as sober people we have perfect control over how we respond. Good luck! Xx
