Friday, Friday!! It’s here! Checking in for 24 hours clean and sober. I’m still here at the resort and checking out today. It was nice to have a mid week relaxing treat. I need to get to the gym today as I’ve eaten entirely too much butter this trip.
Congrats on everyone celebrating milestones today. What’s everyone up to this weekend?

Today is going to be a darn good day not to drink!

Sooo tired! Had to drop my daughter at school at 4am earlier because she's going on a day trip to Belgium today which is super exciting. I planned to drop her and then get straight back to bed but after standing in the rain at 4am, chatting to other parents and waiting to wave the kids off, I felt wide awake. So I decided to go to a 24 hour supermarket and do my big grocery shop. It was fantastic! Hardly no one else there. Then I came home, unpacked the groceries, made my other kids' packed lunches, sorted out a load of laundry and caught up on emails. All before the rest of the house woke up! It felt marvellous. I felt like I'd been given the gift of time. But alas, it wasn't a gift. It was a loan. I'd borrowed some time from today. And now it's time to pay up. I feel totally exhausted. All I want to do is sleep but it's the middle of the working day. I'm going to have to power on. No more grocery shopping in the middle of the night for me. And I thought I was being so clever... Love to everyone and 24 more for me pleazzzzzz
