Yep, "my" cat's name is Sara. We always adopt from the Shelter, and her name was Sara, same with Olive cat. Then I add a personal middle name.

Sorry to hear you're not sleeping nmd. Have you ever tried the '4,7,8 breathing' method? I only mention it because I tried it last night in desperation to get to sleep and beat this darn jet lag and it actually worked!! You breathe in for the count of 4, hold your breath for the count of 7 and then breathe out for the count of 8. You do that a few times and see what happens. Apparently it also helps if you're ever feeling stressed or panicky throughout the daytime too.

Thanks. Going online is probably the worst thing i could do sleep wise, just trying to occopy my mind until i get tired again but it usually results in little sleep. I rarely have trouble falling alseep, its more the 2-4am wake up and i cant fall back asleep. Ill try the 4/7/8 thing next.time. i honestly mostly need the willpower to not pick up my phone. I need to answer it for work so its hard to.not have it close

Still playing the waiting game. Had rain on and off during the day but it stayed hot and humid. I got a lot done yesterday. I was able to go to both of my regular NA and AA meetings as well as meet with two of my sponsees. Also went by my sponsor's house to wish her a happy birthday and drop of a card and gift. Continued prayers for all in the path of Dorian.

Congrats to all of you above for yesterday.
Today marks 2 years and 4 months for me and I am very proud of how far I've come. None of my life would be what it is now if I were still drinking.

My 2nd grader goes back to school today. He apparently "hates school" so I am going to make this morning as calm as possible for him.

I've had a ton of "aha" moments these last few weeks- Kenton, did you feel how energetically strong things were? Holy moly. Not sure how I survived that one. Lots of shifts, lots of changes, lots of awarenesses and separations (break ups, leaving the earth, leaving old parts of self.)

I am more aware today than I have ever been.
I actually think my husband might be my twin flame which would explain our tumultuous marriage.
And so, so much more.

Wishing everyone a wonderful day ahead. I will try checking in more. I was actually awake at 4:30 this morning but decided to go back to sleep until 6. I will try to start getting up earlier so I can see how everyone is doing. At least once a week is my goal. Love you guys,
