The Gilmerites....in memory of Gilmer Part 2
A very good Saturday to all you Gilmerites out there.
You have all heard this piece of music before but might not know who composed it, Erik Satie who was an unusual man (he only ate white coloured food)
I feel sure Kathy would have liked it.

Hi all hand waving from Wisconsin... a little sad today. Miss our Glimmer so much sometimes...
have lost 3 good friends and 2 classmates to cancer this last 4 weeks..
the hardest was Mark a gentle giant of a man a grand friend to have and a laugh that echoed so much of the woodland around his home..
so just this play and remember a softer time..
love this video that Michael Jackson did of dreams and childhood and being just being... so putting all else aside for just a moment
remember your childhood for a minute. love a Lady Clown..

Ardy, that’s a beautiful song, I’ve never heard it or seen the video before. Sorry for the loss of your friends, it’s so sad when we lose someone close.
Kathy was close to all of us and we all feel her presence with us.

Please Glimmer hear our voices.. you are there next to His Hand.. please God hear our prayers. the last of the Geese Families have been taken today .. by men with nets and the babies are dead.. parents have had feathers striped from their beautiful wings.. saw this earlier and now have taken a walk through a path that should have had busy families with little ones learning to fly.. all I found were the feathers left by the men with nets and the birds of the field all upset. for you see the droppings of the Geese make the bugs that others eat and the droppings of all of them feed the ground to grow the plants and trees for seeds and flowers and bees and Meadow larks and yellow sparrows and so many. my cousin the Redwing black bird screamed his rage. but did not harm me. for he knows I walk softly to look and find out the rest of the feathers.....
Hugs to everyone, including chippy.
Wilson Pickett came from Kathy's home town - how cool is that?
The sound quality isn't great, nor is the camerawork - it was a long time ago but this does capture something of his raucous, energetic voice
