Andy, that's why these groups are so important. The "normies" in our lives can be supportive, but only us that have been thru it can truly understand.
Badge, good news! I still have a little bit of medical anxiety, but I've gotten better over the years.
Woke up this morning and looked for the bubble, but couldn't find it...YES!!! After nearly 10 weeks, I can finally declare BUBBLE LIBERATION DAY!!!!!

Itchy, belated happy birthday!
Badge, I think most if not all of us are scared (and yes, even terrified) to tell our docs the truth about our prior drinking habits. In the majority of cases it goes much better than we expected. I was also one of the fortunate ones to have an understanding doc. Imho, it can help in the process of confronting our demons and accepting ourselves. So happy your doc is one of the many good ones.

Morning Overs
I hope you’re all well.
Well I must go and get some wild bird food again, today. What with the extra mouths last week with the ducks (who have now flown back to wherever they came from, probably Normanby Hall) and the fighting pheasants (who are still doing there strange fighting ritual) and the many little birds who visit, not forgetting the squirrel, I’m out of their food! I usually get a tap in the window from a blackbird or robin when I’ve run out! Honestly I do!
My sister text me yesterday to see if we were at home and called round. I rushed to the shops as we have skimmed milk in drinks and not liked by many, so I ended up getting cakes and trifles too. We then went out for lunch. It was a very nice and unexpected few hours.
