The Legend: “A young princess wanders into her untended garden. As she claws through the decaying undergrowth, she finds a brilliant emerald stone. The stone speaks and tells the princess to open an old wooden door. She enters a dark corridor and the door slams shut. Afraid, she moves forward until her hand falls upon another door. Good morning, Marchers!
My niece was awesome! She was Olive in the Odd Couple. Female version. She was really funny.
Got home early afternoon on Saturday and worked in our yard the rest of the weekend. I am one sore girl, but the good kind.
I love Seinfeld. Still watch it when it's on.

Monday is here way too quickly, you are right Purps!

I've been having the blahs too, but I also haven't exercised in over a week....plus my spending $$$ habits could use a good kick in the pants....I keep telling myself "at least I'm not drinking" but that starts to sound like the AV after while....
I watched a recent interview with the guys from GS.....Shannon was talking about getting sober, rehab, therapy, and how everything "comes from within"......Wow, imagine me trying to have that conversation with him, like

Purps, I’d love to see you interview those guys! How cool would that be?! Do you have a link to it that’s shareable here? Or something specific to google? There’s a lot of hits for GS interviews.
I’ve started changing the list of things I’d like to do/accomplish over the next few years (I don’t like the term bucket list, but I guess that’s what it is) to include people I’d like to meet and chat with. Some recovery type people like Rich Roll and Annie Grace would be fun.

On a separate note, I was watching some of the NBA playoffs tonight and they had a commercial with a couple of players promoting getting treatment for mental health issues. I thought it was well done and it seems that some of us here have varying levels of MH issues along with our drinking problem. I particularly love the line towards the end that goes “Never be ashamed of wanting to be a better you”.
I guess the commercial has been out for a while, some of the comments are like a year old. So maybe some of you have seen it already.

Bobbie, sounds good. I created an account on Annie’s main website, but I found the format there to be sub-optimal and I have not been on in over a year. I listen to her podcast a lot, and she seems pretty normal. I’m on FB, but in a very limited fashion. I deactivate my account most of the time and reactivate it about once every 3 or 4 months. I don’t trust any of those social media sites - probably too late now. Haha. It’s the same reason I primarily use DuckDuckGo as my search engine.
Anyway, Tuesday is off to a busy start!!
