Thanks for the new thread Dee! There’s been a few asking about posting pics so I figured I’d add a tip or two. Not sure if it should go here or be posted under the Forum Tips area, I ‘ll leave that decision up to you.

Okay, I'm sure most of us know how to post the thumbnail type of picture? At the top of the message box is the "picture frame" icon. You just click on that and then select whether the pic is from your device or from the web, browse for the pic you want, select it, then click "upload"� and voila, you have a clickable thumbnail!

I used to use that method all the time until I found postimages. It is a free picture hosting site kinda like the others mentioned. The website is Postimage.org — free image hosting / image upload for those of you interested. You don't have to join to use the service, but I did because it gives me a handy place to store my pictures, especially the ones I post more than once.

So, when you open the website, the 3 main options are in the center. I most all the time use 640 x 480, but sometimes use 320 x 240 depending on the pic. By clicking on resize option, a drop down menu appears with sizes and recommendations.

The next box is expiration, pretty self-explanatory, how long do you want the pic to stay in your post? I just leave it at no expiration.

The 3rd box is to choose and upload your pic, again, pretty self-explanatory once you click on it.

The final step is what link you use to post with after the pic is uploaded. I always use the "hotlink for forums". You click on the little clipboard on the right hand side and it copies the hotlink for forums address for you. Then you go to your SR post, paste the hotlink without using any of the icons, just a simple paste, and there comes your image!

I think that sounds simple and I had Bubba follow my instructions, and she said "wow, that was easy"�! If you have troubles or questions, don’t hesitate to pm me.

Well, I'm going to need my sweetie to help me on this photo uploading. I SO appreciate you guys for coming on and helping.

Here at home we've had more drama with our gas lines/water running IN the gas line pipe from the central heating unit in the attic.
The So Cal Gas guy got here very late last night & once again turned the Gas off for safety. He told us if the plumber we have doesn't know how to fix this, hire a new one! Because it's 1st da Plumber, 2nd da Gas Man. We've had only 3 days of gas since I got home on April 8th.

I'm pretty sure putting a photo here is pretty down on the list of "things to do" for my hubby tonight. I also just want to try to chill out.

Kenton, I absolutely LOVE your posts!!! You are such an inspiration, the way you find the positive and joy in everything, it's wonderful, you're wonderful. Again laughed and smiled whilst reading this morning. Keep us posted about the next lot of flowers and I hope you have a lovely weekend.

Beautiful sunny morning here, and 4 days off
Today we're pottering round the shops for a few things including a bbq, also we've got a new addition joining the household next week, a little black and white kitten we've named Boo so we'll be getting the bits we need for his arrival today.
Tomorrow we plan to spend the day over at my parents, bbq in the garden, lots of nice food, sunbathing, walking etc...

Off for a morning coffee with my friend shortly then spending the rest of the day with my BF.
