Happy Friday everyone! Having such a fantastic time by the seaside..... We don't want to go home. So we're not! We're extending our holiday until after the weekend. And to make things even better, my brother and his family are travelling down today to join us!! The sun is shining and today I'm focusing even more than ever on all the many positives in this life. Found out last night that a friend of mine from school lost her fight against cancer yesterday. She has two young boys and was 41 years old. Such a wake up call to live every day to the full. We're only going to live Friday 12 April 2019 once so let's make it a good one. Rest in peace Caroline, I'm glad your suffering is at an end ❤️

Heading to Philly for a soccer weekend with my 13 year-old while my wife attends Mom's weekend at my son's fraternity. Uh, I know what she'll be likely doing and what I absolutely won't be.

Good morning. I'm well. My fault for crappy sleep last night...didn't eat right for supper and went to bed too early and hungry. I have my weekly mental chiropractor session this morning, as I call my therapist. May treat myself to a malt or smoothie afterwards. I was so careful to buy the right printer cartridges, and end up bringing home the wrong ones.....grrrr. Depressing having snow on the ground especially after the tulips and daffodils were growing. Oh well.
I'll take 24 more hours of contented and rational sobriety and abstinence. Time is 0721 CDT.
