In for 24 more of clean, clear, sober, abstinence at 0715.
First really nice spring morning. The sun is bright. There aren't any clouds. It is suppose to get close to 70 degrees.
Go Virginia! I have an appt. with a nurse and dietitian to discuss the Glipizide and nutrition.
Happy to be alive and sober, and happy you all are too.

Hi Hevyn! I love Margate and Brighton but this time we are in sunny Bournemouth. And it is sunny!! It's gorgeous here today. We just went for a really long walk and when we stopped for lunch, my husband's step counter said he'd walked 13,400 steps and my step counter said I'd walked 10,200 steps. But we'd walked exactly the same walk!! I've suspected this for a while.... He always beats me in our step challenges and I think either his step counter is over counting or mine is under counting. My husband is rational, moderate and sane so he just shrugged it off and talked about something else. Not me. I started counting our steps. In my head. Because I wanted to know whose step counter is faulty. I managed it for about 12 minutes and then the need to talk became too great and I started talking and lost count. We're now back after a 4 hour hike. He's done 16,000 steps and I've done just under 13,000 apparently. It all seems very suspicious to me. Whatever the true count, my feet hurt and I feel very happy. And sleepy. Sea air is continuing to work it's magic. I slept for over 9 hours last night!! It's unbelievable. Even the kids slept that long. We're sleeping as much as our labrador. I love it here. Kenton - Try switching step counters with your husband without recalibrating your step length.

12:23 more and checking in from a very warm Southern California. I’m treating myself to a slice of Costco pizza before heading to a meeting I’m leading. It is cheap and yummy, which makes up for the calories. Hope everyone’s week has gotten off to a good start. Congrats to all celebrating a milestone today.
