It was beautiful. Boys loved it. I did too of course. Just feeling sad that they're getting older. I'm trying to hold on to them pretty tightly right now.
My oldest especially loves the mountains. He gets the same calling that I always did when I was younger.
Ahhhh. Time. Can't slow it down.

I think I may be dealing with a bit of clinical depression. Sometimes the emotions start to overwhelm me. Like I can't see the purpose at times. I just want every moment to be simple.

Maybe you should talk to someone about this Final? Whatever you're going through will pass.....you had a great weekend, and I hear that you wished you had more time....to relax and be with your boys.
Do you start to feel down on Sunday night? Maybe the thoughts of another long, stressful work week is overwhelming? Take care of your health first, your job will adapt as needed.

I've had a few relaxing days off Have to stay indoors most of the time due to the heat....looking forward to the end of summer! (I have never said that in my life, until I moved to Arizona) 
I'm going to hang around here for a few more weeks, until my one year date (Sept 10th). The group here was a big help to me, and now I am the last one standing. I'm ready to move on....
Hope you come back to SR Finalround, Ben, Hopeful and any others who dropped in over the past year. I'm moving on to other groups in hopes of getting continued support and friendship.

It feels a little surreal, exactly one year ago today I was in the middle of a relapse after 6 months sober, my family was in turmoil, and I thought maybe I should just forget trying to find my sober path....
I stayed in that state of mind for a week, my last drinking experiment.
And then everything changed on Sept 10 2018.
See ya in a week for my final post in the Sept 2018 group

Well this is my last post in the September group. Today I am a year sober! I am so grateful to everyone who posted here and took a ride on the sober bus with me
I think of you guys, Finalround, Ben, Hopeful and all of the others who dropped in to say Hi. I wonder where you are on your journey. Are you sober, happy and free? I hope so.
I am a little sad that there isn't more of us celebrating a year together. I remember last year talking about how great it will be to get to Sept 2019 and still be sober.
Well, here I am. Sober, and living my life as I was meant to, happy and free of the chains of alcohol. I don't ever regret quitting, nor do I miss my drinking days.
Thank you for your support, I will always be grateful for your contributions to this group. I will still be around SR. I feel that I can truly offer hope to others who are struggling.
