just to say how can 10 days or more can be bad. daughter ended up in hopsital with suspected pancreatitis but at mo is showing signs of infection which they dont know!
so will be around when i can, me ive had enough.

Erratic I'm so sorry to hear about your daughter, I hope she is okay. I know you are worried sick about her but you have to be strong now for her and baby Willem, they need you and they need you to be sober. xx

thanks i have just become overwhelmed with everything.
we are still waiting for her to have ultrascan and she is on high dose of antibiotic which is making her sick so she is on anti sickness to combat that so again just waiting and more waiting.

You might not be super excited about day 1 Nichole but I'm super excited to see you posting again. Day 1 is a good place to start, you only need to focus on staying sober today, I know you can do that. Please don't go awol this time when things get tough, stick with it, we're all looking out for you.

Good morning
I finally got day 1 in and working on 2 i had a very odd I guess withdraw it’s never happened before it’s hard to explain it wasn’t a seizure but like my legs start twitching and moving on their own idk it was weird and odd only thing I can think of it’s from drinking then stopping I definitely don’t want to do that again
Hopefully everyone has a lovely beautiful day and weekend thinking of you all please take care of yourself always appreciate y’all love and support

Nichole it’s great to see you here, and giving things a go once again. It’s always an off struggle until it isn’t. As I approach a year sober, I think I just finally ‘got it.’ Told myself I’d quit every damn week for a decade before I just did it.
As for your spasms in your legs and such, that’s totally normal when you stop. It goes away. You need to be careful though.

I worked on the motorcycle for hours yesterday. I installed new rear LED running lights, that flash ultra bright when I brake. $100 kit, well worth not being rammed by some texting teenager. I replaced 2 banged up blinkers I bought from a Motorcycle scrap-yard online. Adjusted foot-pegs to work with my sweet new boots. Then I washed it.
I went to see my nephew. Spent a ton of money on sushi again. OMG... the amazing avocado/cucumber/carrot rolls made with brown rice from this place, and the Tuna Sashimi slabs, unreal.
I took it to my sisters, as she is at the hippy Wanderlust Festival up in Vermont and my nephew and I binged on Boardwalk Empire. Then I flew home on the bike down all these heavily forested roads, totally out of my way. Amazing.
Today I took it out for another ride. I have not joined the biker group on here or seen it yet. We’ll see.
The heat is here and I feel better. Hopefully I can ride out to my therapist tomorrow if I get in. If I do all country roads it gives me over an hour each way to ride. Highway is much faster.

Morning all, happy Sunday.
We've got the sun back again and all is good. Hopefully, I'll get out in the garden today and soak up some vitamin D, the sunshine never fails to make me feel better. It's just going on for 6 a.m now and I've been up for over an hour already, I'm enjoying the peace and quiet and from where I'm sat I can see all the beautiful greenery outside and hear the birds singing.

Well done Nichole and those leg spasms can happen with withdrawals but please be careful and if they happen again it might be advisable to speak to your doctor just to be on the safe side. I hope you have a lovely, sober day today. Don't forget to post and keep us updated.
