Thanks, Dee.

Was thinking the same. We don't care if you make errors or respond to someone not in this group. I like that you keep the lights on for us.

Hope your boys win something, Purps.

Good morning, Suze. I am ready for coffee.

I hope you all have a great day!

Now....that is some kind of funny..... "grassfed milk".....because most cows are fed with corn here (ewww) and now it's the rage to do it the Aussie (and elsewhere) way, so they are keen to let us know that these cows are eating grass.

I do not think, however, that the milk is eating grass....just so funny to me.

My heart goes out the victims of abuse, whether from these Catholic Church events or otherwise. Those are horrendous and despicable acts that make my blood boil. I really don't have words for them, so I'll just leave it at that.

I am feeling good, and still continue to move in the right direction. I feel like I am putting some small amount of distance between some new thoughts and behaviors and the old ones. One issue, however, is that it also seems to be creating some distance in my old relationships. I'm finding this part a little hard to manage.

Coffee in hand!! Be good to yourselves

Change is hard. When it is feeling uncomfortable is usually when the most growth is occurring.

Okay - that's it for my words of wisdom. My close friend list looks a lot different than it did 3 years ago, MITA. People that I thought would be a constant for the rest of my life are nowhere to be seen since I quit drinking. Go figure. Funny thing is - while I care about them and their well being - I am not necessarily missing them either. Other people and other things took their place. Hugs.

My husband is out of town this weekend so I am going to keep Sophia and Olivia. Not really celebrating St. Patty's this year. Judging by my FB memories I did enough celebrating already.

I hope to get a little more painting done tonight and tomorrow morning. I really want to start putting up pictures and making the house ours but there is still some work to be done.

Have an awesome day!!

Cannot wait to see this house love.

I don't understand St Patrick's Day....and I am an Aussie....and it is HUGE there.
It might as well just be called get drunk on green beer day....or permission to be drunk all day day....

Put the girls to work I say Bobbie love....tiny little paintbrushes and overalls.

Saw GP yesterday. Told him functioning waaay much better and listed off all my herculanean achievements, that I still feel crap, sad, very tired and life is a huge effort some day, BUT I am still connected to the world. This is a lot better than Jan. So off to find a (hopefully affordable) psychiatrist. The good doc reminded me that given all that I have been through in the last 3y- I have done very well.

Getting that house ready is hard work, but satisfying at that same time. Enjoy the process, Bobbie.

Purps, definitely need a plan for the weekend. I’m not 100% what I’m doing, but I’m staying away from the bar/restaurant scene.

Good luck finding an affordable psychiatrist, PJ. You have a lot to share. I think maybe they should pay you!!

Hi to all the rest. A little insomnia here, but going to try for a few more hours of sleep in a bit.

Hey Marchers. I'd like to join back up here. Drinking is dumb and I'm dumb when I drink. I hope all are doing well. Nice to see all the familiar names. Heading to work now but just wanted to get this first post out of the way so I can't talk myself out of it in a few hours. I'm not gonna drink today.
