In for 24 hours

I had to look to see when my last check-in here was, and I see that I missed a day. My world has been topsy-turvy since Friday night, with trips to and from away from home, the weekend, and more. My routine was obliterated (not me). The week is going to continue to be unusual for me, with no work and more time away from home, but I will see if I can at least remember to post on SR, it's part of my recovery to be here every day.

Good morning and asking for 24 please. Man I slept poorly last night and am dragging today. It reminds me of hangover Mondays which were the absolute worst!

Hope it's a decent day all around.

I am another hater of dark mornings after the change to DST. Its not fun to take the trash out in the really dark dark at 6:15 am especially when I am too lazy to find my flashlight.

Another 24 for me please

0900 Daylight Sober Time

43 days no drinking, no nicotine, no OTC abuse...I really think I took all of my scripts as prescribed for blood pressure, diabetes, depression, other mental health. No pot or narcotics.

I got through upper viral infection "healthily," by not smoking or drinking. I have seen my GP, and now have a new diabetes med. My fasting blood work looked good as far as the psa prostrate and cholesterol....

Have some old journals and there is stuff in there that I did that if I dwell on I feel negative about...so I am going to destroy those....don't have any perspective rational to think of this stuff. Time to move on.

Listening to positive videos by Joel Spitzer....good stuff.

Little extra money because of sobriety and abstinence and get paid today so responsible food shopping today.

Good morning everyone!

I called my clinic and got an appointment for this afternoon instead of waiting until Friday. I know I need help for this depression/funk I’m in. I’ll admit I’m a little apprehensive about what’s going to happen but, I need to look at whatever happens as a positive step forward.

I do know that staying sober is the best thing I can do for myself though. Here’s to another sober day!
