Let’s all make it a sober day!

Went to the doctor yesterday. I was feeling worse not better. I guess I was having a bad reaction to a sleeping med so, I was taken off of it. I got very little sleep last night, still tired but, feel a hundred time better this morning.

Congrats to today’s celebrants and all who are here today .

It’s been a long time since I said this: Thanks to everyone who participates in this thread. Especially Suze for all the tireless work you do. Your an angel!

Many Irish goodbyes in my time....especially just after ordering a round of drinks. Never was a good thing....causing worry.
No need for that today or tonight. No green stains or green *.*
My decision to say goodbye not alcohol nor drug intoxication.
Never liked the term either.

In at 0813 putting some reward for seven weeks coming up....Alcohol and Nicotine, but to be honest much else.

Do like my coffee still....don't tell me it's a killing thing ;-)

to get specific several triggers...feeling overwhelmed not knowing the solutions: cat, house cleaning, eating right, going hungry

And gosh, I drink coffee...not too much.....but I love it and have a few cups a day, always stopping by lunchtime.

I’ve had a bad couple of weeks. My mother is struggling with cancer, in and out of the hospital. I dread the sound of my phone or text message alert. Trying to keep work going. Car has broken down. Next day my boot heel got caught on the pavement outside at work as I was trying to walk to wake up. Got some cuts and bruises. I think about drinking for a minute but I know that’s not what I want. You just have to keep going. Things will get better.

It’s just a rough patch-it happens. I feel very lonely but I’m at home safe. It’s an opportunity to meditate and pray, and rest. Maybe a little painting. I’m struggling but I’m safe. Hello 24’s — And 24 more. Positive thoughts and love to all. we all get completely overwhelmed sometimes and don’t have to drink over it anymore . That is so cool.

It's OK love, really....I know it feels terrible, but many of us have struggled to get more than a week or so up after a slip or relapse....you have to totally reset your brain....it is not easy.

But you are here and you are not giving up and we are with you all the way. xx ♥♥

Very glad you didn't break anything other than the stupid heel.....hey, are they new boots? Because if they are, we are in America you know...you can let the manufacturers know...bet you will get new boots.

I know how hard it is with your mum. And I know that feeling of being afraid of the phone...sigh....I think what I did was turn the sound off and just eye check it every half an hour....gave me a small sense of control.

Sending more love....glad you are safe.....no more hurting yourself today.....just some nice harmless cooking (although those peppers can be dangerous ) and lots of lovely sunshine.
