Ken, not surprising you will be out for awhile though I am sure it is very frustrating. I hope you can find a lawyer to help.

Stretchy pants will help Budd. Do you have any friends that can help you with stuff?

Happy Easter, Passover, Egg hunting, Fertility rituals, or just kicking back and enjoying the weekend friends.

Dundee is enjoying a mini heatwave! Unfortunately for us it is torrential rain in the part of Spain we are! Can't feel too bad as the ground really needs it, but oh we did want some sun and warmth on our old bones!

I made us a semi-seder.

My mum would be smiling....chicken soup and Kneidlach (matzo balls), gefilte fish and pickles and eggs and kugel for dessert which is not what you are supposed to have on Passover because it is not allowed (pasta), but oh well, it was all major Jewish food even if I cheated a bit.

Cannot believe the weather toots.....dang.....that's not fair!

Morning Sass and shoes and all lovely Marchers. So everyone.

Morning all!

Suze, that sounds so nice! My friend promised to host a seder for some of us next year. She even promised to make chicken broth free matzo ball soup for me - my favorite! Your seder sounds wonderful.

Budd, I'm sorry about your wrists. I sprained my right wrist a few months ago and it was such a hassle. I hope yours heal quickly, in the meantime enjoy the downtime, you've been working so hard.

I hope you get some sunshine soon, Toots! I wish I could send you some from Florida!

Hope everyone has a great weekend!

I. Love. Matzo Ball. Soup.
The cure for whatever ails you. Addictions, broken wrists, depression, divorce, job loss, elderly parents, anxiety, rotten dogs that chase bike riders, significant others who drive you nuts.

Mazol Tov my dear friends

Yes. 100% true. And I live a minute from the deli that makes the BEST matzo ball soup in Columbus OH....Katzinger's Deli.

EDIT: Don't you think that's beautifully ironic....I roamed as far from home and my roots as possible, only to come across a Jewish community and lifestyle so amazing, so big, one that my mum could only ever/did only ever dream about....I went full-circle by accident, and found everything that she was ever looking for.

I am so blessed to have known my mum so well, and to have loved her and to have been loved by her. ♥♥

Sass. Put that on your bucket list. I will let Suze tell you which one to buy at the store. If I don't get to a deli I buy it in the box and make it myself. I have woke up in the middle of the night craving it.

Good news from the doctor Babs!

Easter picnic with friends today. I made watermelon lemonade. And I bought cookies. We are having a traditional Mexican Easter cookout. Carne Asada here I come!

Sending sunshine wherever you are!

Happy Easter and Passover!
xoxo

I looked....I don't think this one is useful Sass, but maybe....the best Jewish deli in Maine is supposed to be Rose Foods in Portland. Boy would they have chicken soup.

And guess what we are having for lunch?

We had a Martha Stewart worthy Easter lunch consisting of ham sandwiches and Mac n' cheese

Portland is somewhere in the neighborhood of 5 to 10 miles away :-)

Oh awesome!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Then you will be needing smoked salmon, cream cheese (original philly block because the reduced fat stuff is not real cream cheese here), tomato, cucumber and possibly some really good cheddar, which Wholefoods now has.....ahhh......I think I am hungry now.

EDIT: I don't get mac n cheese....maybe it's because I haven't had yours Duff.

Whole Foods is in the same general area in Portland. I go there about once a month...
