Thanks Listae, I actually have a book on my kindle, not an audio but it’s a good book that I keep forgetting to read.... “this naked mind”. I’m going to read it now, thanks for the suggestion!
When you fly, I think it’s good to have a plan... Mine isn’t the greatest (coffee and chocolates!) but sticking close to SR as well, reading and posting helps. We can support each other through this. Together we’re stronger

I'm in for my next 24 too!

For flying: My sciatic nerve gets very grumpy sitting in coach for more than 2-1/2 hours plus. I travel with a travel blanket, all squished up in a ziplock kind of bag. I use it, my purse as my pillow (covered with my blankie) sweater or jacket over me and find a nice dirty piece of Airport carpet to stretch out on. I have never actually slept, but it really helps my back feel better. Dirty carpet & all ....
You might want to try this for the next time you fly. Just laying down is restful IMO.

Well done Willow!! And good luck Least with quitting smoking. You can do it!!! Apologies if I got the die/dice thing wrong yesterday.... I get many things wrong All is going well with me. My daughter has safely arrived in the ski resort in Italy and is being far more communicative than I was expecting! She's been sending photos and it looks like she is having an incredible time. My other kids are off school this week as it's half term so I plan to take them to the cinema later. Everything is great .... I just have my annual birthday depression to contend with. It's not proper depression, it only lasts a couple of days and once my birthday passes so too does the weird mood. I'd love to know where it comes from. I'm not depressed about getting another year older. I still feel very young and I like getting older and caring less each year about what people think of me. It's not that. I'm not sure what it is. I seem to miss my dad even more when it's my birthday which in itself is weird because he never remembered my birthday when he was alive!!! It's a mystery but for whatever reason, this birthday depression descends every year. So, I'm going to do all the things I know help me with this weird mood. They might not obliterate the mood completely but they lessen it's effects .... running/meditation/looking at trees/writing/watching funny stuff on tv. And the best defence against this weird mood is knowing that it will pass. On Thursday morning when my birthday is over, I'll wake up another year older and back to my usual self. Being human is so odd.... I wonder whether we will ever understand all the intricate workings of the human mind??? Here's to accepting things as they are and rolling with the punches. Love to everyone and 24 more for me please xxx

Zantac, I hope your cat is ok.

kenton, life seems to gets easier as you get older, things that bothered me years ago, I’ll shrug them off nowadays. Getting older has is positives in that way, just a shame we get older.
