Lost the key to the church when I opened door for mtg but what’s strange is I heard it fall on concrete floor however couldn’t locate it. Even after other hg members came in & tried to help even by sweeping, nothing. Didn’t break rule 62 & forgave myself quickly

This reminds me of the time when I was in my garage and I dropped the garage door opener fob thing and I heard it hit the ground. And as it hit the ground, the garage door started to close!! And naturally I started to panic and hunt around for the garage door opener thing on the floor but I couldn't find it anywhere. It had disappeared. So I was locked in the garage on my own in the dark imagining every scary scene from every horror film I've ever seen. Luckily I had my phone in my pocket and I phoned my husband who managed to cut through my hysteria as he calmly directed me to the wall of the garage where there is a light switch and a button that opens the door from the inside. Who knew? Not me. And this wasn't when I was drinking. This wasn't that long ago..... after I'd been sober for a while. My lack of common sense is shocking. Truly shocking. I wonder where all the missing keys and fobs go? Probably the same place as all the missing socks and missing lids of plastic containers. I like to think of them all having a big party somewhere.
