Thanks Ina. I think my sister is coming home from the psychiatric hospital today. I truly hope that she is feeling somewhat better and is in a fit mental state to actually be at home unlike the last three times she was discharged. She wanted to stay but the hospital would not let her. She came home in the same state she went in. Have a good day everyone. I’m going to see my therapist this morning. Take care. Xx

Not much is new....it feels like it's been a long, cold winter and I'm ready for it to be over. I kinda have the winter blues, which I know is common. Also going through a bit of a hard time in my relationship. It's hard being with someone that continues to drink...quite a lot actually. I'm trying to focus on myself though...and I don't ask him to quit...I just feel like my sobriety has changed a lot. It's hard loving someone and realizing that love isn't always enough. I'm hoping it's simply a rough patch...we've had them before over the decade we've been together...but all the same, it's unsettling.

Not much new. My relationship is still struggling a bit, but i'm hoping we're on an upswing. It's been a long winter, but spring is just around the corner.
With that being said, I'm gonna try to log on more. Summer and warm weather seem to be a bit of a trigger for my AV.
Anyways, I hope you're all well.

Checking in My AV's been acting up a lot lately, so I should probably start popping by more again. I think it's just the time of the year...lots of friends out partying on patios and so on......just having a little pity party, that's all.

Hey guys,
Just checking in...it's been a little while. I hope everyone is doing okay.
I've been well. I started taking a writing class and I've also started seeing a therapist recently. I've been feeling pretty low for awhile and just wanted to be proactive --it's going well so far. I at least feel like an active participant in my life again, which is nice I hope you're all doing okay. I know this thread is pretty inactive, but I still like to check in once every now and then

I don't even want to think where I would be if it wasn't for this site and all the people who have supported and shared their stories with me for the past three years. I'm so grateful every day.
