Delilah - no I don't think you're wrong. I think it's best for you, and ultimately, hopefully best for your brother too.

Rainman, I am so sorry for the loss of your dad. I know how difficult this is. Stick close to family and friends, and also allow yourself some alone time if you need it.

I found looking through pictures and reliving memories, writing a eulogy, and going for walks very therapeutic and helpful when I lost my mom, and my dad.

Thanks for all of the words of support and wisdom regarding my brother. In reflection, I do not need to decide forever right now, but I have decided not speaking to him for a while is in my best interest.

I can always choose to reach out in the future, but for now, I'm just going to focus on my kids, husband, family, friends, job, all of you, and me.

Seems like a good plan D., ODAAT. String those days together and see what feels "right" to YOU. I do happen to believe that we each choose our own path in life. 'Nuff said, I think you get where I'm going on this ...
