24 Hour Recovery Connections Part 422
Red in for 24 please.
Feeling better—rest and time off is making a huge difference after a few days. Got the majority of my shopping done online—just some treats from the grocery to go. Got a little exercise.
It’s a gorgeous sunny afternoon. I’m a little pink from hanging out on the sun porch. I feel blessed and hopeful. Not a thought of a drink. There are much better things to do..thinking of friends and family..how can I make these days ahead better? Thinking of an old friend who has been very ill and am sending her love. I wish she’d come back. It hurts but there is always hope.
Happy to be here with you celebrating sober life.

thanks!
12:41 pm in California and checking in for another 24. Just left a meeting and I'm taking myself to lunch prior to heading back to the office. I think back to when I was younger and the ide of dining alone was something I'd never do, at 48 it is something I look forward to!!
Congrats to all celebrating a milestone. Hope everyone is having a great day.

Australian standing outside with face up to the sun wearing light trackies (sweat pants that are for Australian summers) and a single top and lightweight hoodie.....ahhhhh......HEAVEN. ♥
Red in tank top and sweat pants with Irish skin basking in zero gravity lounge chair on the Balcones Escarpment of beautiful south Central Texas on a perfect afternoon. Sunny skies with increasing clouds (:’(booooo) , temperature 65, enjoying every second with great delight. What a fabulous staycation it is!
