I'm glad you're back BBG.

Suze, in my case I think it's a technique to ensure that the next patient in gets all the attention and the doctors not standing around gabbing to other patients..

All the doctors I've had in the last few years do it.

I don't take it personally - my doctors are fine one on one

D

Another hot day- 40-2 ish. Not much outside, obviously....still the emerg dept's are overflowing with heat exhaustion people. I saw quite a few bicycle riders- in their lycra riding furiously, some of them did not even have water. The metro bus services have been giving out free bottled water. I kept an eye on my little Greek neighbor- watered her garden, to which she thanked me and asked me not to do it again- apparently she thinks I nearly killed 2 plants by overwatering them (I think she does not like anyone touching her garden, fair enough). To emphasise her point- she paraphrased then same point 4 times....

Just under 40 tomorrow. Have to get into the state Art Gal - they have a free exhib of some early Picasso Sketches...be good to look at for technique.

I am VERY careful Suze. No manly heroics of challenging the heat. Too ld for that- especially hydrating.

Have fun at the art gallery, PHX.

Hope you are staying warm, Suze. We're due for another snow storm this weekend.

Hey BBG - hope you're doing well!

I hope everyone else is having a good day.

Got my starting' fluid, too. I've been totally buried with work, and been wearing my cranky pants all week. Just getting my head above water today - at least a little bit.

I hope everyone's weather moderates and doctor appointments are punctual and low stress with favorable outcomes. I think the health care delivery system in the U.S. leaves a lot to be desired, but in general the health care professionals are caring and helpful - just oftentimes overwhelmed, overworked and underpaid.

Be good - don't drink!!

All good here. Expecting snow and ice on Saturday but the forecast is less as we get closer.

We have been house hunting. Looking for our last house ever. Wish us luck. There are delays with some loans going through because of government shutdown - hopefully by the time we are ready to close that will be resolved. (yeah right)

Hope things get easier, MITA.

Good morning, BBG and purps!

Have a great day, people!

Better day today. Trying to keep my head up and maintain some perspective. Now if I could just get my brain to stop obsessing about all those little things Ah, well - Friday tomorrow!!

Not sure who is in the path of the big snow storm, but I hope you like snow!! I'm glad I moved out of the Northeast because I really got tired of it all. Still, I always viewed the big storms as a challenge - moving all that snow. But by March, or sometimes even April, I was ready to shoot myself!

House hunting is exciting but hugely stressful. I hope you're able to enjoy the experience. If you want to escape that snow and cold, there's a house available in my neighborhood!! Downsizing?

B, at Coober Pedy, a guy is selling his 'dugout' (literally0 for $17,000. It is a man made cave- with 2 rooms partially dug out- and a huge yard of, well- nothing.
