Another 24 for me on this Saturday morning in DC. Congratulations on such great milestones.

Time to deck the halls today including the Christmas tree. Much like painting, I enjoy the end result but not the process! Have a great day.

Good morning 24's,

All right- Saturday at last. I'm going to start my neck rehab exercises today that my doctor gave me, and will actually make a drive to pick up groceries curb-side. I could have had them delivered, but I decided to try out my new driving trick instead. I can't stay in the house all the time, no matter what. If I don't learn to drive with this, I will go insane!

So, because of discs being out, I can't turn my head to right to drive, so, here is what I do: I can shift my whole body to turn my head right. I had to drive a short distance yesterday, and did it on instinct. It worked! (I can turn my head to the left ok). It looks ridiculous. So what? I really can't do a lot of driving, but if I do this goofy move, I can do a little. Maybe for a few weeks as my range of motion gets better.

I'm in significant pain but I can handle this. I have medication and can work remotely. Need to stay distracted. I am sober and things will get better. If I have to get surgery I will, but I'm not at that point yet. That is such a blessing. Yeah, I don't want this, I don't want to have limitations but I do and that's how it is. Time to get on with it and adapt. There's so much to do and enjoy. Better to focus on what I can do and get back into whatever exercise I can. It's the first day, so I won't do much.

I am off to get cleaned up and entertain other motorists. I will see you all later. 24 please

Love

Red

Mama hen here.....it's dangerous honey.....it's fine when you are in control, but if something happens unexpectedly on the road, you won't be able to react in the way you normally could.

Don't stay in the house for sure.....hire a college kid to drive you.
OK.....being quiet now.

For about a minute

He'll be OK
