Hello darling Sunny......sorry we have missed each other for the past week.....I was CRAZY beyond belief before my immigration hearing.....I am amazed Nick survived. Lucky he didn't murder me....

So I rescued a couple plants this morning.
My neighbor had them set out on the curb for yard waste pick-up this week. I am amazed at the things people think of as waste. I knocked on her door and asked if I could take them- she said her relative gives her a tropical plant every year, and every year it dies in her house when she brings it in. The thing is, it hadn't died yet! Way to give up early, neighbor!
So I brought that in plus a fern she had out.
The living room is beginning to resemble a jungle with all the plants I had to bring in for the winter! But I like it
The massive tree in the right corner is the plant I rescued, plus the fern in the 3rd picture:

I LOVE IT!!!!!
I am no longer the only one with a jungle in my house! So pretty Sunny.
And OMG, I cannot believe she put that magnificent palm out...it looks great there.
(PS...If you want to, the hanging hooks come off and you can put them back later if you like. )

)Thank you for the tip on the hooks- it's my first fern and yes, I want those hooks off! I will take them off later on.
I am busy doing to many things at once today- cleaning, organizing, laundry etc and I still need to shop for our 2 Thanksgiving dinners. Going to make a cauliflower goat cheese gratin, a couple desserts and brussel sprouts with almonds!
